  1. Phew. Now it will be easier for you to scroll...
  2. Yeah it takes sooo much effort! I'll quote whatever I want, thanks for noticing.
  3. Wow as always! I want to buy your Killing Joke 9.8. Make me a deal!
  4. FWIW, if a spine tick breaks color, then the book will be downgraded depending on the severity of the break(s). If NCB exists, then a clean and press (C&P) may be beneficial depending on how good and effective the person doing the C&P is.
  5. The ones from this batch left that did not have large scuffs all over the front of the slab...just sent off several mechanical errors to be fixed from this set and my previous set.
  6. I've lucked out with the second category you mention. Maybe because I have had around 400 comics graded in the past two years? Loose books that move within slab, debris, cracks, etc. even a month out. No charges and they have come back corrected. I just sent in several more and am confident the same service will continue (crossing fingers!). However, as mentioned previously, I had an entire submission damaged by CGC that was "re-slabbed" but no luck on admission of guilt for hideous grades, or even an offering of any discount, apology, etc. to make up for the loss. All the same corner crunch and no I did not have pics of comic condition before I sent which was their major position to hold onto. Just sayin'.... Yet, I still keep sending them in.
  7. Grades look good for those issues! Can't wait to see them!
  8. eBay sellers are starting to post this one a lot higher as well...
  9. Another few orders arrived. Thanks again to @Tony S for his hard work in bumping the seemingly impossible to much higher grade levels! I love the newsstand designations now on the CGC labels! One of the ones here I was most excited about ended up having some tape repair from a prior owner, but all is good (Marvel Team-Up Annual #1 - Conserved grade)... For those with more extensive "newsstand" knowledge, isn't the Marvel Team-Up Annual #1 a newsstand? I thought it would be noted as such...
  10. Recently graded from my pc with a huge bump thanks to @Tony S and his remarkable C&P work as always! More will be trickling in soon....
  11. A few fun comics from my pc that are trickling in over the next few months. I love looking at the back covers as well of some of these which received huge bumps in grade, thanks to @Tony S as always for excellent C&P work!
  12. From my experiences (more than 500 comics graded and slabbed) spine ticks rarely can be "fixed". The amount or severity of color break is key though as some pressers are better than others in this area. @Tony S is the best I've ever worked with and my go-to-guy since I started working with him for the last two years now. Total faith and trust in his ability which has translated into the final grading outcomes with CGC.
  13. Not to rehash things, but I posted this awhile back. Since then, I've been a steady customer of @Tony S who is not only an amazing person to talk with and interact with, but a wizard when it comes to C&P! More than 100 comics C&P'd by him at this point and he is my go-to-guy!
  14. No doubt! I'm very fortunate in this case. Hoping CGC doesn't hit this too hard after the C&P. I will keep you posted.
  15. Thick as heck, but I think they look sharp!
  16. No. That lower left corner of the FC will lower the grade.
  17. Sent this one recently to @Tony S for C&P. On its way to CGC now so it may be a year before I post the results.... Other than the tear on the center right edge of the front cover, it is in otherwise excellent condition - especially after Tony's work of magic (the photo is pre-C&P). I'm hoping for 9.0 or better depending on the grader of course!
  18. A bit worried about OWK @onlyweaknesskryptonite I hope and pray he is doing okay. From our recent conversations Monday, sounds like he is having a bit of a time... Hang in there buddy, we're thinking about you.
  19. Here are the three that show in my database (comicpriceguide) - the 2nd print shows a "II":
  20. I clearly chose the wrong photo, my bad. Apparently when I chose the photo from my phone that's what I get for not zooming in to double check it.
