Eh that is not me! But that picture was too cool to pass up on! I think that person would be 30 years my senior by now! 

Well the results are in, it was not any of the guessed grades. I have a black cat 50 .5 restored. I have already sent it away for restoration removal and maybe conservation work. If conservation can help me obtain a 1.5-1.8 I will go that route. The restoration is small amount of glue on the spine and then it says sticker on cover.

It does look like the covers may have been completely split and reattached. Hard to say, but if done discreetly it could have been hard to spot.

that does in fact look like tape!

Hey guys!
So the book is graded but I have a issue.

On the graders notes it says the cover is reattached with tape. When I looked through this book and took pictures I didn’t see any tape. Could this be a mistake?

Thanks! Do you think I should go with a press and clean? I know these books are notorious for having fragile paper. I don’t know if I want to risk it! 

Okay this comic is scheduled for grading right now  so maybe by the end of the month I’ll see what the grade is on it!
