Seeing what Neil supports is consistent with who I believe he’s been the last 30-40 years

Did you read Sandman at all?

to suggest that he’s been doing this for a “payday” seems incorrect

It would appear more that you disagree with his ideas and that’s ok, but let’s not disguise it as calling him a sellout

    Please enlighten us

Just check his Twitter. The dude is coming unhinged. Any criticism of his work is met with a basic accusation of racism or some "smelling his own farts" response about how they just don't understand his vision.

This comes to mind. A patent leather clad dominatrix is hardly the androgynous Lucifer that was based on David Bowie. But if you dont like it, you're just a right wing nut job

  3. Hey guys, need to move some books to pay for some books. You know the vicious cycle we're all caught in!

    1. Paypal preferred and payment due within 48hrs.  I'm open to timed payments and other payment options, but prefer to discuss first in PMs.

    2. No returns on slabs unless they arrived damaged, obviously I'll make that right. Returns on raw books only for defects that I failed to mention/picture, like color touch, missing page, cut outs, etc\

    3. Shipping is included to the continental US.  I'm willing to ship elsewhere but shipping is on you

    Here comes the goods!

Not looking to thread carp here... but that book does not contain Romita's first published work.  Setting aside the fact that Romita ghosted for Zarkarin as far back as 1949, he was listed on a couple Timely books published in 1951, all before August 1951 (the cover date here).  All True Crime #44 (Ace Renard, King of the Bookies" with art by John Romita, Sr. and Les Zakarin) Cover Date May 1951, and Two Gun Western #8 (Doc Holiday: The Killer who searched for death Pencils John Romita) cover date June 1951.

Shoot, you're right. When I originally researched Romita a while ago GCD had this listed as his earliest credited work. There seems to be 6 more books ahead of it in line now.

Happy to cancel the sale to the buyer. No money has changed hands yet
