Got some neat stuff for you guys today, so here's the rules:
1. Paypal preferred within 72hrs, I'm open to checks and timed payments but we need to discuss options first.
2. No returns on slabs unless they show up damaged
3. Shipping to continental US is included in the price. I can ship elsewhere but shipping is on you
Now here's the goods!

Would be my guess that they don't expect it to last that long, but that's my gut.
I think it's more likely that they just don't care because fixing it won't make them any extra money

Par for the course with CGC, unfortunately.

It wasn't a threat. You were promoting the competitors. I could have just given you points, instead of making a post in this thread. After removing your post, you decided you would post most of it again. That is not ok. If it happens a 3rd time you will receive 5 points on your account. That is a fact and all I have to say on this matter.
20. Posting images of competitors books, or promoting a competitors company in any way.
I feel a lot better about not renewing my membership now

What you posted was against the terms of use. I allow a lot to be discussed here. It's not up to you to decide what is ok or not. BTW reposting removed posts is against the terms of use as well. If it happens again, you will be warned through the points system, and I will be generous.
Didn't realize discussion of changes to industry norms was against the rules. You're not making yourself look any better here by threatening people

The census has been inaccurate since the moment CGC stopped giving a credit for label returns.
One of their many moves towards higher revenue and lower customer satisfaction.
Par for the course.

Promoting competitors of CGC in any way isn't allowed. I have removed a few posts.
"Making us look bad is against the rules"
Just so everyone knows, this was deleted because I commented about another well known company offering guaranteed TATs on grading and pressing or your money back.
What does CGC plan to do in response to this? Nothing, is my guess. Except for banning discussion of it. Keep that up Mike, you guys are just driving more long time loyal customers away

I have debated and debated, but I need to clear more space...
Weird Tales Of The Future #8, Aragon Publications, 1953, CGC 3.0 CrOW. I love this book, as most PCH fans do. I did not submit this book, but there is no way it was pressed. Looks like improvement can be had viewing through the case. I think it's hard to price this one. Last sale in this grade was over two years ago at $1,075. Most recent sales are a 1.8 for $1,059 in March and a 4.0Q for $1,883 in May.
WAS $2,575**NOW $2,225** shipped and insured in the USTake via PM

CGC Operations manager did review the case and look at the shipping and receiving cameras and determined that one of their employees did in fact slice the book
As if things couldn't get any worse, now we can't even trust them to open a box properly.

about ten weeks Economy FT based on my experience
I guess that IS faster than regular economy, but still a far cry from the 20 days currently advertised

Standard received 04/01.
went In to G/E/I the next weekquoted TAT time is 21 days now.
actual time so far, 56 days.Well, I guess I'll just hold onto them for now. I'm not paying $80 per book AND waiting months and months. This is getting ridiculous

Anyone have any recent experiences with Standard or Economy Fast Track? Are the TATs on those even remotely accurate? I have a handful of books I need to send in but I don't want them to disappear for a year in Economy and I don't want to pay $80 per book for standard if it's still going to take 6 months

Probably not that, but there are quite a few people that have claimed that they will attempt to pass certain characters through that Hasbro is not making. John Wick as an X-Wing pilot might be attempted.
Someone also suggested Daniel Craig as a Stormtrooper since he had appeared in costume during Force Awakens.
Someone is for SURE going to try Hitler, Stalin, etc etc

I recently jumped in that boat after a fun little exchange with CGCMike. CGC will never get another dollar from me
