  2. Awesome pick-ups!!! Such great covers! I loved the stories in 116 and 120 the best out of these.
  3. and so - yet another missed cover opportunity for our favorite fury villain.
  4. How about your top 5 Flash covers? Post 'em below and lets see what we get Flash fans!

So here you have it my personal favorite 5 covers of Silver Age Flash! (Subject to change from time to time)
  8. Flash Fans!!!! We've arrived at the 200th page of the thread! And to commemorate the moment here's issue #200! Me and Frozentundra thought it would be cool if we each shared our top 5 Flash covers of all time to celebrate this awesome achievement! Lets start thinking about our top 5 and start sharing and discussing our lists. (it's gonna be hard for me to narrow it down to 5 but I'll try)
  9. Congratulations!!! is it worth 2 or 3 dancing bananas?
  10. They Holy Grail of all Silver Age Comics !!!!!!
  11. For the longest time I had just the one short box with the remnants of my SA collection and the handful of my GA Flash, plus my small collection of underground comix.I Kept that with me through about 20 moves over a 12 year period. It kept me company until I settled down and got to a place where I could really begin to rebuild.
  12. 3 pages to the 200th page of this amazing thread. We have to do something special. Me and Fozentundraguy have an idea. More to come....Stay tuned Flash Fans!!!
  13. Right? And yet...not much for us Flash fans to track down prior to 1984. Sad.
  14. No merch from the 1990 TV show? (He asks, still incredulous.)
  15. So that really is it then. Just the 1984 Kenner. Wow! And not a moment too soon, by next year (1985) Flash would be dead. I know someone who has a tin 1940's Flash button, very cool and very rare! I know they did a lot with Superman back in the 40's. Did any of that stuff trickle down to Batman or Flash?
  16. Very cool! And I love the costume too! But you see what I mean about the toys right? Sadly there isn't much. You'd think that the hero who jump started the entire Silver Age of comics would have had some toys or dolls back in his heyday? And as far as the costume, they did not even get the color scheme right. These early product lines, people were just making things up as they went along. I love how they thought they had to put 'Flash' across the forehead of the mask!
