  1. Very nice!!! Crazy fun fact about Flashlites: I have a Flash costume in my locker at work. Unfortunately I have not been back to the office since covid. I would put the costume on for our town hall events. It got lots of laughs when I would run across the room . The higher ups loved it and bought more superhero costumes for mid management to wear for the town halls. My colleagues either love me or hate me for it.
  2. Love this book! (yours is in much better shape than mine ) Gotta love those gogo checks!
  3. Superman 199 has been on my list for years. I'm sure I will have one someday.
  4. Nice group shot there of the end of the run for ol' Flashey there.
  5. These last 50 issues of the run were strangely some of the most difficult for me to track down locally. I had hoped to find these issues at my local comic shops and pick them up serendipitously as I would have in the old days before the internet. But they were not to be found at any of the many LCS here in San Antonio. Carmine Infantino returned to draw the beloved character he helped create in 1956. Such a great way to end the run. I believe Cary Bates wrote the scripts up to #350? (Double check me on that Flash fans.) Great and classic story line and a fitting end (sadly) to a nearly 30 year run. Luckily I was able to pick them all up from one of you fellow Flash fans here on the boards who was ready to part with them.
  6. Sorry I did not get to it last night. It nothing amazing, just something I found Flash related at the Big Texas Comicon last weekend. I did not know this magazine even existed, so I was delighted to see this issue from the early 90's with Flash on the cover. Great interview with John Wesley Shipp!
  7. How we doing out there Flash fans!? I will try and share something fun tonight. Stay tuned...
  8. That's a great deal!!! Love that book and that story! Congrats!! That deal on that book is worth a double dancing banana!
  9. Awesome!!!! That's the one SC issue I have! Yours is in much, much better shape than mine. Still I am so very proud to own it!
  10. Awesome history there! Thanks as always for sharing Terry!
  11. Here's what I found online, closer cover to the original. None currently on ebay that I could find. I bet they don't come up that often?
  12. These must be very rare if even you don't own one Terry! To me it looks like someone tried to draw the Flash in Carmine's style but didn't quite hit the mark? Still I would love to own one or even the Italian version. I imagine they are expensive but may be affordable for guys like me and KJ?
  13. That is really cool!!! Thanks for sharing it! I believe Terry has a contemporary Australian reprint of SC4. Maybe we can get him to share his again? While we are on the subject of SC4?
  14. Share your German reprint when you get a chance KJ. I'd like to see it! Is it from the 50's or is it a more modern reprint? Because that was one way I was thinking for me to get close to a SC4 by maybe getting an Australian reprint, German, Italian anything really.
  15. I have not seen any. But it is something I may consider in the future.
  16. Awesome! I was hoping we'd get to see that All Flash #5!!! Thanks for sharing!!! You are invited to also share it in the GA Flash thread. I know they'd also love to see it! How many of us SA Flash collectors also collect GA Flash like me and KJ?
  17. So, so awesome!!! Thanks for sharing it again!
  18. Looks like you and I both spend our tax returns the same way
  19. Love that deep purple cover!!! I'm so jealous! My copy is faded I need to upgrade
