I thought .... well what I thought was wrong anyway lesson learned split and brittle pages even with a cover that may grade 8.0 still brings the book down to Good minus or worse. Its good to know because ive guessed correctly before on severe defects where CGC tends to split the middle. But this was obviously different and forget that whole the insides count as 30% of the grade on this one. It's considered just above complete with a slight bump for a pretty cover.

4.0 would be generous IMO

I had 9.4 and 3.5 for the Spider-Man I felt the staple tears and damage to the spine was just too much to be graded any higher. But I will re calibrate. At least I got 1 bull.
