With that much soiling??? And quite the spine roll there ...I graded it at 2.5 but the paper is listed as white so I bumped it up to a 3.0 but 4.5 is supposed to be a VG+

I thought .... well what I thought was wrong anyway lesson learned split and brittle pages even with a cover that may grade 8.0 still brings the book down to Good minus or worse. Its good to know because ive guessed correctly before on severe defects where CGC tends to split the middle. But this was obviously different and forget that whole the insides count as 30% of the grade on this one. It's considered just above complete with a slight bump for a pretty cover.
