  1. Interesting... CGC even notes it as romita cover. I wonder how that may have happened...
  2. Even a blind squirrel gets a bit sometimes lol- this just came in the mail today - Human Torch 38 missing a centerfold when I took it out of the bag and board look what I found not sure I will rip it to make the cap whole but to funny not to share
  3. MMC is a great book and price... if this was available next month I would have already taken it...
  4. Awesome!! Can you send a pic of the back and help me on my quest??
  5. Thanks for the info! I am just a bit of a completest and may eventually slab it and if I do would think it would be cooler with the back cover. I have no intentions of selling but if i can improve it for minimal cost I do not see why I shouldn't. I will look into the atlas books. I love the timely stuff especially the Schomburg war stuff! Thank you!! It seems to be a slippery slope lol... Awesome info- I am googling away as we speak on what that cover looks like so I know in my travels.
  6. Hello- My golden age collecting is just starting out but I came across a copy of Cap 78 (I probably over payed lol) but I thought it was a great looking romita cover so I grabbed it. apparently the last issue and a tough one? It is complete minus a back cover and rough. So I guess besides sharing. 2 things... 1) I would like to marry a back cover- any cheapish books I can look for that shares the same back cover? 2) just any general info about the book- since I can not find much info thanks!
  7. It is terrible... also if using CCS they do not get verified after returned to CGC so you have no clue where anything is at. This is driven by the calls they were receiving from the clients knowing the stages and asking questions.
  8. I didn’t post a pic earlier... so here is mine . Very happy been after this book for a while
  9. As a buyer.. I prefer a counter to at least know someone is negotiable.
  10. Just grabbed a GA book I have been eyeing.. guy wanted 795 two offers in and he took 450... and add the coupon bot it for 390!
  11. I love these things- just bought a golden age Book I’ve had my eye on- they wanted 795 - I offered 450 and now another 67 off with the coupon.. boom!
  12. Thanks! Peter David was a nice guy to talk to too... I am very happy with all three of the sketched (although the Tex one he was talking while doing so I think it could have been a bit better).
  13. WOW! I was there and did not see half of these pieces... I admit I was trying not to buy much since I am going to C2E2 later this month. The Donnelly's had an X-men page I loved but the price was crazy... Thanks for posting.
  14. Email them- they were very responsive when I reached out last year... cool book BTW
