  1. Over a certain dollar amount they need your social security number.. i do not recall the amount maybe 2k - but I was surprised when asked for this once and confirmed it legitimacy with an international art dealer. The form always asks and does not distinguish the breaking point,. you can find the exact amount with US customs. if it is a small amount tell them to leave that blank and it will be fine
  2. Took a ride out to the Garden State Comic fest before the snow storm tonight... the show was underwhelming... but it was a show! And I found this dime piece sitting on Larry Stroman s table.. so it came home
  3. Mail call! Got another couple pieces in from Josh Cassara ... man I can not get enough of what he is putting out:
  4. Excellent Collection and entertaining talk.. thanks for doing it! ( I believe we have a few mutual friends as they were all excited to poke fun in the chat area lol)
  5. WHOA! Burkey had one page a couple months ago.. last I looked it was still on hold. you may want to reach out and see if you can angle to get it ... Good luck!
  6. I stumbled upon an Australian artist Will Pleydon while checking out a new art rep company belegendaryillustrations.com - so I bought a pre done piece the Batgirl/Joker and commissioned a painted Phoenix. In less then a month they were at my door all the way from Australia.. I could not be happier with the art , the process pricing or timing. Check them out!
  7. See i am famous now... tell Joe Bennett to hook me up on that Wolverine commission we were talking about !
  8. Awe .. feeling so much love from everyone!! Thank you so much!
  9. I was there..it was cool. Anthony was the only "art dealer" but scott hanna had a ton of published art and I found this at the comic upstairs... A few comic dealers brought some art because they knew what anthony was doing downstairs the comic show
  10. WOW- Thank you @Will_K . I was humbled that Bill even asked and I wanted to try to make it as interesting as possible.. I am very glad to hear you enjoyed it and even more grateful you went out of your way to post here!
  11. My first banger of the New Year was a surprise! I’ve been looking for a nice Mike Zeck example for a while.. and while I was at a small comic show this beauty was sitting on top of a comic dealers wall ! Very early Zeck - issue 224 from 1978 but such a fantastic page. not sure if this is splash or a panel but either way very happy to have it!
  12. Someone who buys these... is stealing them for this price... if these were on Heritage they would probably go for double the price!
  13. I bought a page from them.. they were fine.. packing was good shipping was quick
  14. below is from his website... there is also a comic show at the same place so there will be additional comic dealers Anthony's comicbook art mini con this Sunday Jan 10 thOkay art dealers and flipping collectors, now is the time! In cooperation with Jon Paul of the New Jersey Comic Book Cons and sponsored by Bill Cox of Comic Art Fans, on January 10th I’ll be putting on the first bi monthly, possibly monthly if it goes really well, ‘Anthony’s Comic Book Art: The Show!’ I've been wanting to do this way before the Comic Art Con even started, for the sole reason of doing more live in-person business which is something I truly love doing and is one of the things I’ve lamented most about the pandemic. Now feels like the time, especially because there aren’t any big shows to do. I’ve rented the room at the Baymont by Wyndham and have to map out the space for the number of tables, but we are starting the tables at $60 per six feet. I’ll be giving the pro dealers the space they need then I’ll make tables available to the Comic Art Fans premium members. Come see my entire inventory of original artwork there with art by all the top tier artists such as Art Adams, Neal Adams, John Buscema, Sal Buscema, John Romita Jr., Nick Cardy, and so on. Reilly Brown will also be doing commissions at the show, so prebook yours now. Mail order is available, you don't have to be attending the show to order one. Legendary Illustrations will be in attendance, with art handy for artists they represent: such as Ron Wilson, Tony Kordos, and Henry Martinez. They will also be brining two of their artists in person: Keith Williams and Larry Stroman. Scott Hanna and Sean Chen will be there as well. We will be streaming on CAF during the show, like I did last Sunday with Bill and remote guests / customers. I’ll be hosting with my beautiful wife Sharon and will include anyone who wants to be involved but if you don’t want to be on camera you don’t have to be, plain and simple. Please get back to me as soon as you can about booking tables, and Keep Calm & Keep Collecting! Thanks, AS LOCATION: Baymont by Wyndham || 140 Rt 23 North in Pompton Plains.
