  1. I'm really stoked to have the Captain Marvel #2. One of my favorite Colan covers. Gambled on the Atom #1 and it came in a little under what I thought it would. At best it would be a 2.5 but that may be a stretch.Probably will flip it for something else pretty soon.
  2. The Batman 125 has been kind of a Holy Grail for me. Glad I was able to pick it up. The Flash cgc is fun, but I'll probably flip it down the road.
  3. I have been using mycomicshop for at least 10 years. My only nit pick is when I flip books I bought from them back to them some times it grades out lower. Yeah, I know, different graders see different things. But if they regrade a book as a vg, they sell it as a vg. There are quite a few people I've dealt with there over the years that are super nice and professional. My dealings with Este Bagato in the consignment area have always been wonderful. I can't say enough nice things about her. I'd much rather sell/trade/auction my books with them than ebay. I usually send them 4 boxes of books a month.
  4. I have an unslabbed #9 but would love to find a slabbed one at a reasonable price.
  5. Picked the FF 15 up as a 2.5, but methinks closer to a 2.0. Still fun to have.
  6. Grabbed these using the coupon today. The Batman 125 has been something I've been chasing for years. Glad to finally find a decent copy for under $50 that isn't seemingly falling apart. I just wanted the CM 2 because I love the cover. The Flash 127 was cheap enough for me to pick up and maybe flip down the road some day. I was really tempted to pick up a Flash 151 cgc 8.5 that is one of my all time fave Flash books along with 152 & 153. The raw copies will have to do because the cheapest the Flash 151 was about $150 before the discount.
  7. There are sooo many and it is difficult to pick just one. I'd love to find a cheap, slabbed copy to go with this one:
  8. I sold on ebay for ten years and quit when they wanted Paypal to become my partner. I've had better luck with mycomicshop.com. They do all of the grunt work and their fee is reasonable. (Then again I never had to sell a highly expensive key book like a B&B 28). My brother's friend is selling the first 23 issues of Playboy next month, all CGC graded, with Heritage next month. That will be fun to watch. It will also give me some insight as to how Heritage works.
  9. I was looking at a CGC book with a Comic Link sticker on the back and was rather annoyed by it. Thanks for the tips!
  10. This was the best I could do. added it to the original post. Thanks.
  11. Newbie here and I was wondering what this Iron Man #1 might grade out. Not too many glaring faults save for the front cover. Not looking to slab or sell it just yet being rather new to the CGC process. But any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!
