  1. 2.0 to 2.5. The water damage is a killer.
  2. The weak spines bring them down into the 3.5 to 4.0 range. Great mags to have though!!
  3. Another gem from that time frame. Love the cover (and the story).
  4. Hmm. Some guy wants $1,150,000.00 for a Mega Rare Error Comic, DC Teen Titans #6, Marvel Two-In-One #74 Inside CGC 7.5.
  5. This issue eluded me for years at an affordable price. But in the past 18 months this may be the 5th copy of this I have picked up. I do have a CGC 3.5 of this, but keep flipping the raw copies. Think I'll hold on to this one for a while.
  6. I missed out on the Flash 152. Along with the Famous Monsters 40, I also picked up these two FM's.
  7. This guy fell out of more airplanes than anybody in 5 wars.
  8. I know this isn't a comic magazine, but this is a great cover. Just won it tonight.
  9. My first two purchases from Comiclink. The B&B 41 is from the Westport Collection (ooooo).
  10. I'm a tough grader. I'd give it a 3.0, maybe 3.5 tops.
  11. Now that this has arrived, just one more to go to fill my three favorite Flash comics slabbed.
  12. The least significant or most annoying villains/characters of the Silver Age: The Winner: The Eraser from Batman 188. Hey, he dresses up like a pencil. Makes Kite Man look cool.Terrified of pencil sharpeners. Others I'd like to forget: Mopee from Flash 167. Polka Dot Man from Detective 300.Ooo dat's scary!! 99% of the heroes Robby Reed dialed himself into. Kandy Kane Man anyone? Zook who hung out with the Martian Manhunter. Club that little nudist like a baby seal. Major Mynah from the Atom. Roast in oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  13. And a GI Combat 93 and an AAMOW 93. One greytone cover, one tri panel.
  14. Traded for some AAMOW and GI Combats. First up is the AAMOW 111 I traded for, and next to it is the copy I already had. This is one of my favorite Silver Age greytone , tri panel covers. Not sure if I will hang on to the old one or not.
  15. Actually, it is the third appearance of Zoom, second being in #147. My Flash subscription started with 151 and ended IIRC at 197. I just loved the covers and stories of 151-158 but am settling for 151-153 in slabs to make me a happy collector.
  16. One of the three Flash books that I wanted slabbed. Another one is coming within the week and I have bids on the last one. Used ebay bucks to cover some of this. Still not sure if I will flip my raw copy. Sigh.
  17. Did the buyer file a claim or did he just contact you via email? Whenever I have opened a claim through ebay for a problem, the option of leaving feedback was taken away immediately. It is almost like the transaction is dead and buried.
  18. I haven't submitted a book to CGC as it is cost prohibitive. I buy them on the "secondary" market, and have only kept about 20. That pretty much cements that my opinion is worthless to the powers that be. But here is my plugged nickel on it. Newton rings just bug the $#!t out of me. To me, they are an eyesore. Especially when the cover is mostly black, like my ASM 28. There was only one way to look at it ring free, and that was by tilting it to just the right angle. It bothered me so much, I flipped it to someone who didn't care about the rings. Win win. Now I try to find out when the book was slabbed. If it was within the past year or so, there is a lot of hesitation about pulling the trigger or not on it.
