Why is Avengers #1 such a slow grower (money wise)? Book is EVERYWHERE, and most collectors have their keeper copies, and nobody else really cares, IMHO

The book is an absolute stunner (looks much nicer than a 7.0 from the FC, but is missing a small chunk on the bc per Gator's inside info. Structure of the book, looks like a 8.5/9.0 as Gator said the chip on BC keeps the book from a higher grade. BB

Common on that issue. I have seen much worse-vertical production tears that go the entire length of the bottom front cover every 1 1/2 inch or so.
