  1. That was fun, but I'm tired, lol. I will do an update tomorrow. There are still a lot of great books left! Thank you, everyone for participating!
  2. Action 242, The first appearance of a major Superman Villain, Brainiac, and the first appearance of the City of Kandor. The book is complete. The book has great color, nice gloss, many of these are faded. There is some drawing on Superman's face, It has some creasing but not as much as most of the lower grade books have. The staples are out of the book and the book has been restapled to hold it together (not by me, I got it this way. There is a cover spine split from the top staple to about midway in the book. It looks like there are splits for most of the wraps you can see under that split, but I don't want to play with it. There are a few pieces of tape on the spine and a small tear at the top, that has a crease. I don't think the spine is completely split, but it's possible there are a few more splits. The book is easily read and does not appear to be brittle. There are two smallish pieces missing from inside margins. I had a hard time pricing this, but it's probably the lowest priced complete decent looking copy you will find.. Bin is $365.00 There are a whole bunch of pictures in spoiler tags
  3. Detective #283, Martian Manhunter and Roy Raymond Nice color, lower staple pop and a stain in the lower left coverm very small tear upper right. Plus some moisture rippling on the back (cover only) . Grade is Gd+ (2.5 ) Bin is $16.00
  4. Detective #248 John Jones Detective and Ray Raymond stories. Book was manufactured with only the lower staple. There is lots of creasing, a piece off the back cover, nice color and spine wear. Grade is Gd+ (2.5) Bin is $18.00
  5. Detective #220 1955 Roger Bacon and friend have shown up as Batman and Robin. Captain Compass and Roy Raymond stories. 3 pieces of tape, 2 on the spine, 1 covering an almost 3” split at the top, the other at the bottom and one on the top of the back cover. There is a subscription crease. Looks nicer but Grade is Gd+ (2.5) a 4.5 sold for $175 in Nov. bin is $65.00
  6. Detective #192, a 40 page book from 1952, the year of the odd page counts. Robotman story. There is a small damage lower right, hopefully from bugs, and an obvious spine roll. Color is nice! Chemistry cover! Grade is Gd+ (2.5 ) because of the spine roll but it's probably better, bin is $30.00 sold to mdean2437
  7. Batman #137, Some cool stories with unusual aliens:)sold to Norrin's lawyer Great color, a small tear upper left near the staple. There a few a few small creases at the top, grade is Fine- (5.5) bin is $65. 00
  8. You KNOW if I did, you'd have 12 already, they don't make them. I think I have a Wonder Woman though if you want one of those, or Spider Woman:)
  9. Batman #132, Lots of Batman and Robin in “bondage” stuff and an alien who looks suspiciously like Mr. Spock;) Great color, there is a very small chip upper right and a 1" cover spine split at the top. There is a bend on the lower left and 1/4” tear on the outside open cover on the back. Grade is VG/F (5.0) . Bin is $50.00
  10. Batman #125, The Secret life of Bathound, a Dragon and Batwoman...what more could you want? Great color , some distributor's ink on the spine and the right edge. A few creases, and some dirt on the front. This was a book I got from the Bakerstowne sale from a distributor's warehouse about 15 years ago and it has never seen sunlight, the colors are gorgeous. Grade is VG- (3.5) (because of the ink) Bin is $35.00 Sold to Azkaban!
  11. Batman #123, Bathound cover, Joker story! Nice color, creasing especially lower right, a drop of distributor's ink at the top that goes through most (or maybe all) of the pages (about what you see on the cover, does not affect the art. ) Grade is Gd/VG (3.0) because of the ink $28.00 Norrin's lawyer, thanks Greg!
  12. Batman #119, sold to Fan boy, thanks Gregory. You get your choice of the magnets. Greg gets one too, but he has a stack already, so I'll figure it out with him later.
