Marvel UK Price Variants
in Silver Age Comic Books
Posted
Recently picked up these two UK variants. I'm drawn to the relative scarcity and intriguing distribution. Definitely wanting to learn more about them. Hope to add more in the future when they pop up.
My past experience comes from the Baseball card world. When I first learned of these variants, I equated them to World Wide Gum cards issued in the 1930's. WWG is a Candian version of their US counterpart Goudey Gum cards. However, WWG's were printed at a different facility with English and French writing on the back. Their values lag behind Goudey values. I think UK variants are a different animal and don't deserve to lag behind. I'm looking forward to learning more and adding them when I can.
