  1. So I wonder what that makes all the raw Ultimate Spider-Man and Hulk HI books that have been sold on eBay for quite some time? They have been graded after the fact, so what is different now? It is not CGCs responsibility to determine what the back story on a comic is or how it became released into the wild. Their position is to grade the book and be an impartial third party. Sorry, I love CGC and all my peeps there, but precedence has been set and you should not be changing mid stream. I would love to own one someday also, but the point of CGC is to provide a guarantee to the product and assessment of grade. Lastly, this was a charity production, so who would theoretically own the left over books? Skybound? HI? Lots of weeds to clear up and it should not be CGCs responsibility to determine that course of action.
  2. So are all of these listings basically 'going price' or are they 'heating up'?
  3. If anyone needs a 9.9 Lincoln, hit moi up!
  4. Top bidder or any bidder needs to be put on a list...pronto
  5. Robert owns plenty of art! If you've ever wondered why you haven't seen a piece or a cover, it is likely with him! The Moore family still owns the cover to #1 and a few other covers. They have no interest in selling the cover to #1, as someone stated earlier, they have been offered great amounts but nothing that was Saudi Prince type money...

  7. Just a quick heads up... Amazon Lightning Deals has the Andrea figure for $7 or something... Just in case anyone wants or needs it! JJ
  8. Not a seller but think your advice is spot on. I always make offers of what I'm willing to pay if its a book I want. At least most of the time it opens up the talks.I have done many deals that way.And I get to build relationships with the sellers. Also It helps linking up outside of ebay to complete the deal if both parties agree. Not sure if I should say that but it happens a lot. Edit: do to poor spelling eBay is how we met!
  9. eBay is your best option to sell graded books. As long as you can list at a fixed price and field offers, you will reach a far bigger group of people. Auctions = bad idea
  10. and it's not even a first appearance. Which Previews edition is it?
  11. +1 So what does it take to be a comic ? Is an ashcan a comic ? How about Farlaine ? That book is oversized and opens the wrong way. I'm just having fun with you. I just don't see CGC as defining what is and what is not a comic. Precisely. Under the rules expressed by the naysayers here, Mouse Guard certainly doesn't qualify as a comic . . .
  12. This is my fav of all the WW covers. My favorite is still Totino's but this is better than most of them. I love their pizzas
  13. Batman Adventures 12 First Appearance of Harley Quinn in Comics. Nothing will change this fact. The only way you would not consider it, is if you invest heavily in tin foil hats.
  14. Very cool! Is that Pippin or Merry with you?
  15. Buying at these prices IMO puts you on a list with the government somewhere...
  16. I have SS copies coming in so I will see your blue label and raise you
