NWM is by far my favorite... Even better then Saga IMO It gives me the same feeling when I read books like Planetary, WE3, LOEG... It is evolving each time I read it and I can't help but want to go back and read it again to see what I might have missed. I am getting the most bang for my buck...that's for sure...

So let me get this straight... Tommy Voltage comes onto a message board and tells whoever reads it that this particular shop is awful in essence. Larry, who is a retailer and I would think defends other retailers as he should basically calls out this poster and says he will share those statements with that LCS, who this just in runs a business with employees and people that count on employment, but Tommy did nothing wrong? To think anyone would agree with Tommy Voltage's statement and not think there would be repercussions is laughable. Remember, Larry is going to be around much much longer then many of you. It's a good idea to think about who you are knocking before you post. People like Larry, Eric Stephenson etc have done a lot more good for comics then the majority of people bashing. We are lucky to have them as part of our community. But what do I know...

I have been at ECCC all weekend and got to meet both Nate and Eric. Both are wonderful to talk to and seeing the original art was a thrill! I also got to flip through issue 4 at the CBLDF signing! As far as all the arguing... I talked to several long standing board members who have been around for many years and I think we are all beginning to grow very tired at the absurdity of many new members who are free to voice their opinions but fail to realize other people read these forums in the industry also. As a long time collector, buyer and seller... There is a certain amount of integrity and respect you should have for all creators and their books. Not everything revolves around it being 'hot' but popularity is a good thing and so are options for people when it comes to unique variants with a purpose. Just my 2 cents and I am sure someone that has never been to a con, been around comics for less than a year and has never actually met a creator or publisher will fill me in on how I am incorrect. These boards use to be a great time and very knowledgeable but now it seems that knowledge is kept between many of us via phone calls, PMs and talks at conventions. Too bad for many and sadly much of the information in any given modern thread is inaccurate at best. Sorry to preach, but just because you can post, doesn't mean you should... Love JJ

CBLDFs are not sold out at the show. They are limiting per person.

I think the bottom line is... This is a FANTASTIC read! Enjoy the variants as you will. They all seem to be made for good reasons to help promote the book. This book is right up there with Saga and WD for me. Long haul.
