There's really nothing wrong with that. Marvel and DC have created superheroes for decades that are not white males. I think what pisses people off is when you take an established character and change their ethnicity or gender to something completely different than it has been for decades. Stuff like making Nick Fury black for example. Can you imagine the outcry if they changed the ethnicity of T'Challa or Luke Cage?

Yup. The grand daddy of suck right there. There was a series called Solo Avengers (which later became Avengers Spotlight) and some of the stories were penciled by Milgrom and inked by Don Hack. I still shudder when I remember those. Truly frightening

I'm way over it. Been over it for years. It used to irritate me but when I came to the realization that I was no longer in their target demographic, it was liberating. I am now free to use money I would have spent on new comics, on the older stuff I never read at the time. I'm completely happy with that. Marvel can do what it will. I will do the same.

Not that Marvel would actually do it, but resetting to Secret Wars is a bit too early I think. I would use the moment that Bill Jemas became VP or Marvel as the reset point. That's the genesis of things going to hell for Marvel.

No idea if dry cleaning would remove that smudge but with all the other issues the book has, why bother dry cleaning it at all? Great book to have. Wish I still had my copy
