  1. Yup, those are the ones I know. Be careful where you walk of they'll slice your foot open #Clamtalk2020
  2. When I first looked at it I thought the books were different too, but after closer inspection I think the cover shifted (probably due to the detachment) and makes it looks different. But to your point...STOP pressing older fragile books! This is the culture that CGC has helped to create. Press everything regardless of whether it needs it or makes any sense to do it.
  3. Those look like Pacific Razor Clams.
  4. Thanks for the heads up. I am now caught up. This is like watching Days of Our Lives with my mom 30+ years ago. Now I just need the popcorn. Can't wait for his next appearance.
  5. Mully's back with a new thread for all us mental deficients.
  6. No, enlighten me. Some people will deal with almost anyone as long as they have a comic they need or comic they need to sell.
  7. What your comics are worth have a direct correlation to the dealer's integrity. The greasier the dealer, the less value they have! They do? Are you aware of the concept of "Cool Books"?
  8. Some do and some don't. I don't think we can use such generalities and anecdotal information to say definitively one way or the other. Your customers appear to be willing to pay for your level of service so good for you. However, I'd be willing to bet that you have customers that are lured to Amazon or instocktrades or cheapgraphicnovels because they can get a TPB for 25%, or more, off. They may not do it all the time but if you don't think they have never done it, you've being naive
  9. Perhaps Mully can assist you with these grader's notes
  10. I’ve noticed this as well...There was a 9.6 prescreen I just had come back where all were 9.8 PS rejects, and over half of them came back 9.8 On one day, it's a 9.6 and on another day it's a 9.8 or vice versa. All of which makes the silly money paid for 9.8s, well....silly.
  11. Blackout curtains and keeping any artificial light off most of the time in the room do the trick. And then wear night vision glasses to view your comics
  12. This is always a great way to collect. I've pretty much given up on the high grade hunt merry-go-round and slabbing BS and am now focussed on collecting, in reading grade, comic and characters that I enjoyed as a kid. Welcome to the boards
  13. A little thin for a lumberjack but you're alright I wonder if his dog likes your comment
  14. He's acting out. I'm not going to flame the fire. You're way too forgiving. Yes, I know that sometimes newbies have a hard time here and sometimes it's not justified. In some cases, it's mean and over the top but then there are the times when you have people like the OP who come on guns blazing, chip on shoulder, looking for a fight. He was given perfectly reasonable advice in response to an unreasonable ask. He deserves the responses he received.
  15. Doesn't matter. We should all be able to infer all issues by reading between the lines. If @Mully79 believes we can guess a grade based on notes and not actually seeing the comic, then that should be just as easy to figure out. We can call this the "Mully Doctrine". Grading without actually looking at the comic. Actually, now that I think about it, PGX likely follows the Mully Doctrine.
  16. I have the Byrne issues but I can't abide the Heck, Tuska, and Colletta art on some of the earlier issues.
  17. I just pulled up GPA, this book is doing anything. In fact, most sales across the board are lower than 2018 averages. You liar! Maybe it's doing a tap dance, or a little jig.
  18. Oh come now, it's just getting interesting. You aren't done insulting us for asking completely reasonable questions. @Mully79
  19. Picture please. Front and back. Nice and clear and not blurry. Don't accidentally crop the edges
  20. CGC graders grade a comic by LOOKING AT IT. Why would you expect us to be able to give you our advice without seeing the comic? I mean seriously.
