  1. Anybody for the Kirk trifecta? I'd prefer the Costanza trifecta
  2. My opponent and I will be submitting in an empty stadium
  3. You're not alone. A lot of people hammered the Thor book. That's because it's not a 9.2
  4. Because he's asking for the outer cover grade so unless you have the ability to see the inner cover by looking through the outer cover like with x-ray glasses or something, go by what you see not what you can't see
  5. Scooby Doo is like Spider-Man for the young generation. Flintstones = Superman Well, if that is indeed the case, then since Action 1 is still valued at a higher price point than 'Tec 27, shouldn't a book like Dell Giant #48 (i.e. 1st comic book appearance of The Flintstones) from 1961 be valued at a higher price point than the first comic book appearance of Scooby Doo in 1970? Sadly, I suspect that most younger people and kids know the Flintstones more from cereal commercials than they do from the actual cartoon show. On the other hand, Scooby Doo has been almost continually in the pop culture mainstream since it debuted in 1969. That's why Scooby Doo is greater than Flintstones. I love the Flintstones and would love to see that property rise to the level of Scooby Doo but it ain't there right now.
  6. You're not going to find a high res equivalent (or anything close) to comics.org. I could be wrong but I don't think such a site exists.
  7. I'm not sure The Who are qualified to make such recommendations. Create thundering rock riffs yes, advise about pandemics, no.
  8. Excellent question! I'm gonna spread my seed all through this place So long as you use proper fertilizer, I think the results will be quite productive.
  9. I don't know that they deserve too much grief. How easy to come by was golden age stuff even in the mid 70's? Probably cheaper for them to use whatever someone had lying around Exactly.
  10. Same here. I stopped after the questionnaire asked me to list the names of the graders I knew. I stopped after they said they could see me in my tighty whiteys. Creepy
  11. I didn't get one either. I'm gonna complain in the Ask CGC forum. If only there was a way I could call them.
  12. I've considered it but for me it comes down to too expensive and too hard to find in high grade. Besides, the real time to collect these was 25/30+ years ago when nobody cared about them. That train has left the station.
