  1. Dang, I was just going to post my Jon Juan too.....Man, your copy sure is nice (repeat ad infinitum). Is that a pedigree copy?
  2. No, I have a buddy who collects those and I prefer not to cross paths with him. If I send you a list of the stuff I collect can I be your buddy too? Cheetahs are all cute and cuddly until they open their eyes and start buying ALL the comics!
  3. AMAZING Shadow pulps Dwight....!! Thanks for sharing
  4. Lovely books as usual Alanna Here's the Rockford #52
  5. We demand Picto-graphic proof (please)
  6. I like Miss Masque (thumbs u They should have used this cover for her first appearance in Exciting #51, IMHO
  7. That is a cool cover (thumbs u . I like Manhunt #2 as well
  8. What did you use to spend your money on before you started buying every comic in sight?
  9. Very cool. The table is full, so I guess you have to stop now, right?
  10. Love it! But I don't have a copy of that one yet. Well, I'd hate to be the guy who is bidding against you for the next nice copy. I used to have an undercopy from the Aurora collection that is probably a 9.8, 9.6 at worst (it's technically nicer than Okajima I kept). A long time ago in a moment of flagrant stupidity generosity, I offered it to a friend at a reasonable price because we had done some nice trades. He hemmed and hawed for months before I told him to buy it or forget about it. He bought it but has not, unfortunately, experienced any buyer's remorse. I wish I had your "problems"
  11. I'd have a hard time picking my favorite, as I have about 2 favorites per title. Honestly it would be hard to pick something over Startling #49, but I do love #48 a lot.
  12. Those are Schnazztastic....love 'em. There was an alarming lack of Schomburg airbrush in the latest Comiclink auction.
  13. "You are now ignoring this user. You will no longer see the body of any of their posts." (thumbs u
  14. Read his post history Bill and tell me if you still think it's funny It goes a little something like this (repeat ad nauseum): any timelys? any more timelys?? TIMELYS?? any more timelys? do you know what issues? more timelys?what titles, please? so,where's the other timelys, please?? any other MMs?thinking about this one.see if another's better. well, what else?these are going like hotcakes. anything today? any more timelys? hi,anything yet?? any timelys?? All Select#3 or 4? All select#3 and 4?? what about the Timelys?
  15. This is not the place for these requests. Neither is every single random sales thread that you happen to open. Just stop.
  16. Every copy of this issue I've seen looked like the two on the left (orange). I'd probably lean to keeping the redish 8.5, but I'd be happy with any of those copies. Man Fiction House printing was strange. Even though the first two copies aren't as red, the blues and greens aren't faded at all -- they look fine to me.
  17. Looking over your links - great job! I wish every Ebay seller put as much detail and effort into their listings.
  18. I have much to learn about quoting posts the right way from the Awesome Greggy
  19. I like your taste in books count. That Manhunt is a cool cover. That Amazing Adventures book does not have a Schomburg cover, I wish they would fix that
  20. You will be a much happier collector if you know to avoid the three traps: 1. Gerber Guides 2. SD Con 3. GA Forum It's too late for me, but there's probably still time for you. I think the boards are even better than Gerber was at showcasing certain issues....I'm always a little overwhelmed when I open my Photo Journals. Here on the boards, you get nice big pictures, one at a time -- easier to assimilate.
