  1. Great books - as usual! I'm always impressed at the amount of information Schomburg managed to cram onto his covers .
  2. AWESOME October!!!!! I thought long & hard about going after this one, congrats
  3. Can't say I've ever noticed before...too distracted I guess...but what is that *thing* on her head? It's not...the same color...as her hair....
  4. Very cool book...all Schomburg art on the inside too
  5. That is a great copy of a great book. One of my favorites!
  6. I really like these early Sheldon Moldoffs GL covers
  7. It's true. It went from him to me, then back to him, then to Ricky. Now to you. The next question is: who are YOU going to sell it to?? (I'm interested ......) I think it's my turn next All parties involved! Class Acts! Merry X-Mas Glad you liked the sig placement that is a tough cover to find a good spot...Mr Simon looked around for a while... there is a lot going on.......as I have noticed on lots of Simon/Kirby Cap covers.... He should have signed the "Hotel of Horror's Register of Death"
  8. This one isn't new to me, just newly slabbed. I love this book -- Schomburg airbrush cover, Nedor, GGA, White pages (white cover!), highest census, Okajima pedigree (back is date-stamped April 12, 1948) In my dreams, all of my books are this nice..
  9. Homina homina homina. It's too dangerous to keep all of these great books in one place, I think you should spread them out a little -- like maybe keep a couple at my house?
  10. Great books as usual, you've got great taste! the Fighting Yank #8
  11. Thanks to mcmiles for the excellent Fighting Yank. Mike's got the goods and he knows how to pack & ship. Top notch!!!
  12. Very nice, I don't remember the last time I saw this issue
  13. At first glance, this looked like a case of Giant Bunny Arson
  14. Do you have two of these now? This one makes 3 (thumbs u Apparently your greed has no bounds The 4.5 that just sold on Comiclink sure looked nice...white pages too
  15. startling went for good money... If you can wrap your head around the fact that Startling 49 is a $7500 book in 9.2, then yeah -- $11K is a "good" price, all things being relative. I have always been a huge fan of this book , and I am still surprised how much it sells for relative to other issues around it, and from the same time frame. Great book Cheetah...lots of us would be happy with "just a 9.0". It takes a real cat to upgrade to 9.4 (thumbs u
