one thing they should reconsider to maybe make up for all these delays, don't charge it until it's graded.

charging up front and then waiting 5 months is bs

100% this. I'm not sure about others but they've also been charging me asap for prescreens. So far I'm prepaid on 150 prescreen books so not sure what they're going to do with the credit for any rejects when I don't renew my sub on 6/23.

  2. Finally called about this guy, which I assumed and continue to assume is just lost 🤣, and was told it would be another "few weeks" and that prescreens are adding 15-20 additional business days now. So sounds like this one may go a full 100 business days....

Meanwhile, I'm feeling must less optimistic about my prescreens from 2/11 and 3/5 still sitting at received.

  3. In these crazy postal times I frequently get deliveries from USPS that tracking shows were delivered the day before. Pretty much happens every time there is a sub on my route. More trying to find a potential silver lining, but could possibly show up tomorrow.

In either case, as a seller, you followed the protocols with tracking and delivery so ebay should cover. I worry more about CC charge backs six months later when tracking is purged and you can't prove delivery (fortunately this has only happened twice in tens of thousands of transactions).

I just called, and customer service said that they are currently shipping prescreens from the week of 1/11. I was told that any subs later than that that ship should just be chalked up to good luck for moving more quickly.

Seeing as my 1/12 has been SFG for over a month with no movement, and definitely not close to shipping, sounds like they made that up. 😥

  5. This happens to me frequently, and actually twice within the past few weeks with the same image. Lots of people seem intent on preselling items nowadays for stuff that "will be coming back from CGC" or whomever and like to poach images (or so this is the rationale given). The last time it happened was on FB and the post with the "borrowed" image was removed and the seller banned. The time before on eBay I sent an email but nothing happened and the item went unsold (their starting bid was $1000 with my image) while my copy sold for around $500.

  6. I wouldn't personally spend the money on those two books, from a value or JT4 fan perspective. For value, the SIKTC books that seem to realize the greatest price increase from being signed by him are already crazy expensive to begin with (and everyone and their mom, dog and uncle are getting SIKTC books signed).

I'm a fan of his books as well, and was thinking about sending some books in for this, and was considering Wynd since that's his self proclaimed favorite book.

  7. I got one on Friday that stating I owed $1,029 for a 50 book modern prescreen that they received on 3/5. Don't they charge prescreens at time of grading? 🤷‍♂️

Was just happy there were no extra shipping charges on there.....

Also, was a bit of a shock seeing everything from this year all in one place, let alone the previous years 🤣

  8. I haven't heard of anyone requesting a refreshed invoice on a pre-sale CGC before, which I believe are generally understood to take a LONG time (I don't buy them for this very reason). Certainly not saying your request was out of line, but would you have done the same if you had paid with a Visa through Shop Pay or something similar before the Visa dispute window closed?

Just playing devils advocate but if I were a retailer who hadn't received a request like this before it may come across as a red flag to me.
