  1. Hey @TwoPiece want to take over this thread and wax poetic on why Winter Soldier is a terrible movie? I kid, I kid.
  2. Saw the TV spot for it yesterday and my wife turned to me and said, "That looks absolutely terrible but I can't wait to see it."
  3. Perfectly stated, however I knew 110% what the movie was supposed to be walking in. I had no aspirations of 50 mutant characters and plot-holes bigger than the grand canyon. No, I knew this was going to be a movie (in its truest form) without the comic-book movie stigma. That said, just didn't like it; it was film noir and I was left bored...
  4. Don't beat me up too much but I thought Logan was awful. Full disclosure, I understand what the movie was supposed to be opposed to what it wasn't trying to be however I was just flat out bored with it. It reminded me of the movie Hook after awhile and it grew tiresome as things progressed. Again, I know perfectly well what the movie wasn't but unfortunately it just doesn't deserve a rewatch in my book.
  5. I genuinely hope that is the case. I'm all for big reveals but this movie should be shrouded in secrecy until it's actually released.
  6. I think you hit it right on the nose. In specific regards to the X-Men cinematic franchise, the movies have become tired and boiler-plate. Dragging out the same characters movie after movie feels unmotivated (it has for some time now) and the money-tree in Fox's backyard whenever an X-Men property is released, personally, is the main reason. I strongly believe Fox didn't butcher the franchise, in fact X-Men 1 & 2 are fantastic, however they did ride the money-train a little to long without producing any "interesting" content. In finality, they relied too much on characters originally portrayed literally 20 years ago and are still riding their gravy-trains into the sunset.

  8. Scalphunter for the pure unadulterated win.
  9. All those B-C list character stamps are awesome in-and-of-itself!
  10. I know it's real but it almost reads like an Onion article.
  11. No rationale one way or another but, any New Warriors cover font - for me - is the stuff of pure nostalgia. .
  12. Books still in Grading / Quality control as of this post.
  13. Admittedly, I'm not the biggest DC fan however I hope this movie flourishes, as it's a - seemingly at least - completely different cinematic approach to the Batman/Joker cannon. It has its own identity in the best possible way and my only wish is that movie-goers see it as that.
  14. I used to collect them as a kid, Marvel's 2nd and 3rd series were my addiction at the time!
