Here’s #wwiicover takedown number one: Pep Comics #30 from 8/1942. Checks all the boxes (superheroes, horror, Nazis, racist Japanese depictions, GGA, bondage, torture, dead bodies, skulls +++) you would want in an early war/superhero cover. Great color and quite scarce. Excellent PQ. Only 11 on the CGC Census.

***Stolen High Value GA WWII cover books - Atlanta area***
in Golden Age Comic Books
Posted
These comics (and perhaps more) have been stolen from my apartment in the Atlanta, Georgia area. It was done sometime this week while I was out of town. Several apartments were broken into at the same time by what the police are calling backpack thieves. My alarm went off and they fled but not before unlatching windows. Looks like they came back later and picked up a few recognizable character books and a few ungraded books I had laying around, leaving many other graded and ungraded books untouched. Please alert dealers, fellow collectors, comic shops, and stay on the lookout. Feel free to share this. The books are insured through CIS.
