  1. let me know when you plan on selling them and for how much. Also lighter fluid works well for removing sticker residue.
  2. I just saw the photos you put up and I'm very confident it is legitimate.
  3. After doing some research, I'm semi-confident it's legit. I used this website as my sourse for the insert codes. http://www.awe4one.com/NDS-MJ Inserts/Insert webpage.html After zooming in I can tell that the code is in fact a G. On the website the writer states that alphabetical codes were used from May of 1985 to september of 1986. Daredevil #231 came out in June of 1986. The last code used was G. The same code that you have, Considering the same codes were used for several months at a time I can pretty much say your insert is consistent with the insert code that would have appeared in June of 1986. And I think if someone else shows a copy of a Marvel comic from June of 1986 that is Mark Jewelers; it will probably have a code of G. (Marvel, DC, And Gold Key had different numbering systems)
  4. I would definitely pay a bit of a premium.
  5. It looks like a six to me. If you post a close up we can probably decide on which it is.
  6. I don't know if that's how the codes work. But that certainly would make sense. Some codes on other books were combinations of letters; and some had up to 3 digits.
  7. On the bottom right hand corner. Your's is a six.
  8. I have a list of the insert codes with the months they were distributed. When I get home I will check to see if the code of this book lines up with the month it came out. Ill get back to you when I can.
  9. None of my friends really collect comics. However the Marvel movies are extremely popular and I have seen a handful of people reading TPB's and graphic novels.
  10. I can't speak for every person my age, but I am 16 years old and I spend a sizable amount of my personal income on comics and maintaining my comic collection. I even have some smaller keys like Secret Wars 8, Amazing Spider Man 316, Hulk #5, and Ms. Marvel (1977) #1. I pay for all my stuff myself from my own job. I don't see myself stopping anytime soon,
  11. Doctor Who: The Road To The 13th Doctor #1 signed by David Tennant
  12. Also lighter fluid for lighter refills work really good for removing stickers and it leaves no marks.
  13. Update: The re holder book is now marked safe/shipped
  14. I would definitely give it an 8.5 as it is. I feel like 9.0 is too generous due to the spine stress.
  15. So on September 8th I submitted 4 books to CGC. One was a signature series, two were modern and one was a reencapsulation. My question was about the submission status. The reholder is already at grading/quality control. The two modern books are at verified, but strangely the signature series book is still at received and has not been moved to verified after 24 days. Is this normal? I thought that all the books would all arrive at the same status around the same time but this doesn't seem to be the case. This is the first time I have submitted to CGC so these are just some questions that I have, Thanks!
  16. So I recently purchased a Hulk #5 that is coverless. I was wondering what it would be graded as if I sent it in with facsimile cover. Would it be graded with an NG or a restored grade?
