  1. For people who don't want to have to go to the other thread. "The crossover event Operation Galactic Storm was offered in 1992 across seven titles, but the Quasar series was being published as a direct-only title at the time. In order to allow the full publication of the crossover on the newsstand, Marvel published the Quasar issues as a three-issue Special series"
  2. This is a cool one. Based off research this probably means my copy was one sold in Grand Rapids Michigan.
  3. Today I went to the Marvel Universe Omsi exhibit in Portland. Saw some crazy cool pieces of original art, and some awesome original movie props. However I did feel the need to point out something that made me cringe a bit. Seems they should pay a little bit more care. Jim wouldn't be happy.
  4. UK price variants were printed in the US and then shipped overseas. But there are also British only titles that were printed and sold solely in the UK
  5. I think that books in the silver and golden age from most major publishers were printed in the US. Unless the book is a foreign release or foreign printing. As far as just knowing at a glance I don't think so. You would have to look into the particular title online.

  8. Is this serious? That would be a cool thing to see.
  9. Un supplement Longshot? I dont speak French, but did this come inserted in a Longshot issue?
  10. A few more 1-2 dollar pickups. Ill always grab them at any grade at that price.
  11. Some of the better finds of mine at a recent comic show. The first Braniac was a crazy good find as it was mixed with other low grade silver age books for 50 cents. Everything here was purchased for less than 200 including another stack of cheaper books not pictured. The uk books were 3 bucks a pop.
  12. I have a copy of Brave and the Bold 147 that is in good shape apart from some scratches/creases from production. I have photos of other copies online with the same flaw. Not all copies seem to have it. How would CGC approach this book? Green label? Blue with grade hit?
  13. Why is Jobe on the list. I think it's pretty obvious he didn't do anything wrong?
  14. Not sure if this truly counts but someone posted this a while back.
  15. I see nothing wrong with B5 as long as it's a lower value book packed with stiff cardboard.
  16. Tom Baker Frank Miller Sal Buscema Danny Elfman (lots of MCU soundtracks)
