    Mine was purchased along with the rest of the run from a Facebook group member directly in Brazil. The rest of the run is in the same great shape. No spine splits on this one. I had a cgc 3.0 that I sold on ebay after upgrading to this copy.

    Secret Wars 8 was released twice in Brazil. The one you have posted is the later release, which I could see a 9.4 for. Still impressive though. This is my earlier release Brazilian. The staples are what makes the grades so tough.

    A full 9.6/9.8 run of Rom is a dream of mine. Great books!

    I never complained, but I had a copy of hulk #5 that I sent to CCS. Came back with a small pinhead size piece missing under the number. Probably wasn't bad enough to lower the grade, but when you send a book off to CCS you expect it to come back nicer than it was sent off.

    There's no way to be certain but imo they look legit. They could also just be really good forgeries. Not sure why someone would have Stan sign that book, but he was also known to sign pretty much anything that was put in front of him.

    My local shop apparently got in a really beat up copy of SW 8 and put it out for 5 bucks and sold it before I got to it. I was disappointed at first but then realized it was probably for the best anyways.

    Has anyone had any problems with looking up terms like, "Subscription Copy, Subscription Cover, etc". Every time I look something up with the word "subscription" it turns up no results.

    Rom was great. I always thought issue 17 had a cooler cover than 18. I ended up getting a copy signed by Chris Claremont at a show one year.

    I looked and couldn't find a thread dedicated to this. Feel free to direct me to one if there is. It's exactly what the title says. Post stamps found on your comics. Here's one that I found. Not sure what it's for. Reminds me almost of the Mark Jewelers star stamps.

    I'm currently putting all my books in mylars, and so I was able to photograph some of these. I have half a shortbox or so full, and I've got alot of them over the past 7-8 years from 50 cent and dollar bins. Btw when did people really start collecting these? Back when I started it almost felt like no one knew anything about them, but maybe that was just my perception. The ones from the early 90s are interesting. I rarely find them. Anyway, here are some of my favorites...

    I collect MJ inserts whenever I can get them for cheap. I have some really good ones I'll have to post at some point. But as for selling this one, I don't even know what a good starting price would be. 100? 200? It's really one of a kind. Maybe I'd sell it at some point, but for now it's mine. 😁

    Here are photos of the spine, and the staples in the insert. It's hard to see the staple even up close, so my finger is pointing to where the bottom staple is. I purchased it at a local comic shop here in the US.

    I don't have much to say about this, but this is a very strange oddity. Someone on the forums a few years back had a couple Canadian price variant Mark Jewelers Daredevil issues, but I've never seen a pence copy before. Thoughts?
