I saw that and I do not see any color break, It may look like it from that angle but looking at it straight on, nothing.

Just to let you know, I checked my copies of CA 217 and they do not look like yours, maybe ruling out printing defect.

I would say 8.5 also after C&P. It looks like there are a couple more smudges on the back cover, middle left edge.
I sure hope the fingerprint can be removed with the C&P.

Maybe I should have posted that info but no it has not been C&P.
I'll post the slab pic on Sunday Evening around 8pm

The dreaded comic book spinner rack. Pulled a few from those in my time. Nice book

Got this back from CGC around August of last year. had 9 other comics graded also. With the upcoming grading contest I was thinking of posting them here so anyone who wants to can guess the grade.
Sorry about the quality of the pictures, just took them so that I had something for my records. Never thought about them being posted here.
I will provide grader notes of defect/defects that cannot be seen by photo's. There were no grader notes for this one. ?????
HINT This graded between 8.0 and 9.6
any questions / suggestions appreciated

6.5 for me, C&P will help, IMO. Someone else can comment on this but I do see what appears to be some minor "denting" on the front cover (see last photo)

Please post the results of the grade to this thread if you get this graded. Thanks

The other two notes are these "light spine stress lines to cover" and "light creasing to cover"
graded in 6.0 = 8, in higher grades = 382
I was a bit disappointed in the grade it was given. I was thinking it was in the range of 7.0/7.5
Are "light spine stress lines to cover" and "light creasing to cover" two different defects? I thought a crease was a color breaking fold.
Your thoughts are appreciated and thanks.
