"Perforation tears" aren't those bindery defects? not sure how CGC treats them. Nice book in any case. I'm at 9.2 not knowing what hit it will take because of the sun shadow
-
8.0, I think it's just a slightly unaligned cover.

5.5 here also
-
I'll go 6.0

Thanks for the reply's, the Baltimore Comic Con is coming up in late October. I'll have it graded there by CGC.
Probably be quicker than sending it to them.

OK I'll jump in, it actually looks more like sunlight fading to me
Red materials are good absorbers of photons of ultraviolet (UV) light. The result is that the red-emitting chromophores degrade at a faster rate, triggering fading.
The back cover reds are still red.
Blue always seems to be the last color to fade out, so you're left with this strange blue/white picture.
See Moon Knight
But this is just my opinion and I could be way off base. I'm sure somebody with better experience can reply

I do not see anything that stands out.

You might want to upload the pictures, just saying

nice looking book, 4.5 also. I think the loose centerfold at one staple holds it back.
-
I'll say 3.5 if cover and centerfold are attached

I'm at 9.0 also, but I'm not sure whats up with the spots on the back cover top right. I looked at my copy and it does not have any spots on it.

Nice, Congrats on your first one and good luck to you finding many more.

I get your point, it's always hard to grade something just by looking at pictures and thru plastic. I think we all feel that way. I do wish I took some actual pictures of the comics before i had them graded. I just wanted to get them slabbed before anything happened to them.
The other two I had graded that year were my ASM 129 and Hulk 181. I will post them on here in the next several days. I hope you understand that I'm not trying to embarrass anyone here, I just look at it as a learning experience. I'm still learning myself. by the way the only grader note on this book was "multiple bend cover" that's it nothing more.

I think 6.5 is max after C&P. There are multiple spine stress and staple stress lines with color break. Possibly too many to reach 7.0 but I hope I'm wrong and most likely I am.
top edge of back cover, is that a tear ?

I collected Hot Wheels from about 1999 around 2010. I have way too many and just not interested in them anymore. but I still look for T-Hunts and actually found one a couple weeks ago. first one I've found in years. I look for Ford Mustangs and Mercury Cougars maybe a Batmobile or two. I have a 1968 Mercury Cougar that someday will get restored. I hope. this is the Super Treasure Hunt I just found.

in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?

6.0 is what I see. As per the "defect" above the comic code box looks like a classic tape pull to me.
those staple tears scare me, looks like the cover just might pop out of them.
