  1. No worries, it is unusual, NYCC usually is the first weekend of October, but not this year
  2. You posted this about a week too early, unless someone has a DeLorean I don't think there are any pictures yet
  3. Frank only sells his covers, all his interiors and strip art he stores in his studio. He's posted about this explicitly on his social media before' edit: I was baited into posting in a 3 year old thread, I plead the fifth
  4. I'm pretty sure (not 100% since I'm just going off this image from the announcement, it isn't explicitly stated as such in text) that the re-release version of this label has the words "Vault Edition" on top of the marvel logo on the back of the label. The existing version of this label certainly doesn't have those words on it Edit: And it also says 2023
  5. My thought is that every piece of art you keep should bring you some sort of happiness either through appreciation of the art itself or by some happy memory/experience that is attached to the art (or if you're of a certain inclination, by the monetary appreciation of the art). If the art doesn't do anything for you, I'd just ditch it. Try to sell it or trade it away.
  6. The ME itself has it's own submission number so CGC can keep track of it in their system, and CGC cert numbers are just the submission number + line item number in the submission (so the 1st item listed for submission number XXXXXX gets cert number XXXXXX001), so thats why MEs end up generating their own cert numbers even though they don't really get used on the label (just for internal tracking I guess, or just might genuinely be a programming oversight).
  7. I think you lose the ability to use that card in official play
  8. I feel like this is the 20th time I've read this thread in some form in the past few months
  9. Thanks for the reply, just to be clear though, you can submit for Signature Series grading at a con without a paid membership right? I know because I've done that before, but I was wondering if that also applied to Signature Series reholdering (Which I guess the answer is no?)
  10. Hey, At conventions that CGC is attending can you submit signature series slabs for a reholder service (not a crack and regrade, just a straight up reholder) without having an active CGC membership?
  11. Yeah I agree that just hiring a random collector wouldn't cut it, my point was that saying CGC doesn't have anyone right this moment that can authenticate art isn't a good argument for considering whether CGC could or should viably open authentication services If you meant to say "Could CGC find someone qualified to authenticate art?" then thats a different and really good question.
  12. No one at CGC was qualified to grade cards before they opened CGC Trading Cards. No one at CGC was qualified to grade games before they opened CGC Video Games. Whenever they've opened a new branch they always hire new personnel for that branch. There are plenty of reasons why CGC going into authenticating OA might not be a good idea, but CGC not having anyone right now to work on it isn't one of them.
  13. Weak. You owe it to yourself to crack open your AF 15 and take it into the bathroom with you like a real man (or cat, in this case)
  14. Bagley still sells all his art through Spencer, but using his site is a dead-end because it hasn't been updated in years and Spencer also isn't known for being the most responsive online. So your best chances are either visiting his booth at a con he's attending, or he does weekly live sales with Clan McDonalds on their facebook group so you could try there (and the facebook chat during those sales is basically your best way of getting a reply from Spencer for any inquiries)

  16. Seems to match his signature on some older pieces attributed to him I found on CAF https://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=1179229 https://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=1179230
  17. Yes we get it, we all hate the name change but theres nothing we can do about it. I miss the blue bird logo too
  18. I think Anthony is a special case because he has a retail comic book store in addition to the warehouse we usually see him in
  19. Might be a good idea to archive these listings or screenshot them at the least
  20. Click rewards (it's between Campaign and FAQ in the header), the add-ons for each pledge tier will be on the right
