  1. I guess you are right but prices seem frothy on 52...
  2. Question... is ff52 catching up to or even surpassing ff48? The prices look very similar lately. I can’t seem to afford a decent 48 but I’m lucky to have a white pages 52 8.0. 52 definitely has the better cover! Thoughts!
  3. I have 80 of the ff 1 to 100 run. A Kirby sig on 13 my lowest grade copy 5.5. It’s expensive Will I ever finish? Should I? It’s collecting and like an itch. So I took my slabs to a shop and asked for a value estimate and the guy looked up eBay sales and says 3500 this and that. It’s more inventory than the shop! I bought 1 book... yeah I’m going to continue but slowly...
  4. I bet you still use scotch tape. Haha silly human!
  5. My boxes are superior to yours! Therefor I am superior. Wash my feet plus cat proof!
  6. Hmmm. You told me not to send that ff50 in. I was hoping for a 7.0. It came out ok no surprises. Basically it’s a good book but was read with fat thumbs! Now I have a problem... I need a copy of 48! I must finish the trilogy! Saving up now...
  7. Omaha comics has treated me well also. Nice books!
  8. I have a couple early ff with marvel chips. How bad do they affect grade. Worth slabbing? Are they worse than stains?
  9. A little bit. I had guessed 7 7 8 9 9 so I was not too far off. Remember they each cost around 140 with pressing and postage. I was hoping the 90’s books would get above 9.2. It is what it is
  10. I got my next 5 submission grades in. Kind of a waste of time and money. There is nothing special about these grades although decent. These were all inherited books and not bought already graded... ff24 7.0 ow wh #50 6.5 ow #63 9.0 wh not bad considering black cover #91 9.0 wh could probably have bought a 9.6 with less hassle #94 6.5 wh stain on back cover I missed sometimes it’s easier to just buy the book than grade your own... I show pics if anyone cares or wants
  11. Strange. 5 silver age standard. Ccs pressed in 2 weeks and given to CGC. Scheduled for grading one day after payment. YEEEEHAWWW!!!
  12. i want t to give a shout out to MyComicShop.com. I did not realize I was buying from them because it was an eBay purchase but their grading and shipping was superb. I will be back...
  13. my recent additions... mostly decent, number 40 is on its way Then im going to finish the 30's. I want 37 slabbed 9.0 plus though ouch ouch
  14. very very noice... this is not the hallmark of an amateur collector! I am calling you out! You have one of the top ten collections in the world!. What is the end game may I ask? I think the hunt makes you happy and I guess thats all that matters really.... I keep fleshing out my collection slowly but heck these books are expensive even raw! Happy Holidays
  15. thats fine. I am not arguing here. i have tried fast track and economy and standard. I am definitely not happy with economy because it was almost 7 months... Who has time for that?! The Dude will be happy with my latest acquisition... raw book, cheap and could use a press
  16. How do you choose wisely among grading options? Wait 7 months for your book? Dont use CCS? Tell me exactly how to save money on this. I will pay 375 for this book right now if it has been pressed by CCS
  17. I got 2 auctions ending soon for my lowball bids. Are they required to honor them?
  18. Im not sure you will be able to recover the slabbing and pressing fees with these grades. Unless you didn't slab them. im in the same boat...
