    I just picked up this copy on auction in Japan for a decent price. The seller had been trying for months to sell it and slowly kept lowering the price. He only had one pic and no description with a few bad nicks in his feedback. I was cautious, but I took a gamble and it turns out to be a nice high grade copy!

    I searched the CGC census and found one previous Spawn Dengeki in the database, so I guess that answers my own question that "yes" they can slab a book 5mm thick.

    First post... I have a couple Japanese variants (Superman #1 1978 and Spawn #1). The book size is similar, but the thickness is about 4mm for Superman and 5mm for Spawn. Probably 80~100 pages. Are these too "thick" to fit in a CGC case? Thanks. Dan M
