  1. I, too, have looked for a decent copy for years. Unsuccessfully
  2. At my age, I'd prefer a talking frog over a gold-digging babe
  3. The funny thing about it is in every panel, she is on the make for the richest and handsomest guy in the room
  4. This may be a square peg in a round hole, but I count Mopsy as a romance comic. It’s certainly got the GGA covered, and they are rare
  5. I guess Matt Schiffman was getting ready to put out a series on schomburg, but I don’t know if there were any others besides this one does anyone know where Matt is these days? Is he still in the hobby?
  6. Yes, that’s what I meant. “Going blue”! I like the phrase. if the mechanics don’t bite on these, maybe we can get a better idea of what percentage of blue a PLOD is truly going for
  7. Reminds me of the final scene in the original Planet of the Apes
  8. I like this cover for its capture of the innocence of youth. And yes, I’m ignoring the click-bait banner “Too Many Restrictions”
  9. Another Heritage win. I don’t understand why this book isn’t valued more by the collecting community; cool as heck cover.
  10. Seems odd that a cover swipe would appear in the same title, but maybe they figured 30 issues later, what the heck: no one really looks at this anyway!
  11. It didn’t bring 7.0 money. It brought 6.0-6.5 money. Given what they likely paid, I don’t think this could have been profitable
  12. I quite agree, but when I posted my book earlier in some thread(maybe this one, don't remember), I took a lot of heat from boardies laughing at the ridiculous proportions and contortions of the boy and girl. So, after further thought, the reason I like this cover is first of all, it takes me back to my stupid ways as a young pup. But to me, the standout quality to this cover is the feel to it. You've got the frozen world out there, while in this one little bubble, things have gotten pretty darn hot. So you've got extreme cold and extreme heat, separated by only the windshield
  13. Do we know who ended up with this book? Was it a boardie? I guess likely we will never know. We should attach gps trackers to these.
  14. Comicconnect will tell you if there will be duplicates of your book, and make timing recommendations accordingly
