  1. As I posted earlier, you were absolutely correct about my mistake. I fixed my original post as soon as I saw your post. And, as you stated, it's best to go off sales, which you can find on GPAnalysis and from ComicLink. Joe Ankenbauer

  5. Here are some pictures of my copy of Fantastic Four #49. I would appreciate your input on the following: a) grade, b) benefit from pressing?, and c) would you slab it? Thanks in advance for your time and consideration. My guess is 4.5 - 5.0. Joe Ankenbauer
  6. I see a small stain in the upper-left hand corner of the back cover. I don't remember if it affects interior pages. Joe Ankenbauer
  7. Fellow board members, I am very sorry that I did not follow this board's guidelines. Another member pm'd me to let me know that the acceptable number of books to be posted is no more than three per day. Obviously, I did not follow that guideline, as I posted five books today. In the future, I will do my due diligence about determining what acceptable behavior is by reading the sticky posts at the top of each forum. Again, I am sorry for my ignorance. As is often said, ignorance of the law is no excuse. Joe Ankenbauer
  8. Do you think pressing would increase it to a 6.0? Joe Ankenbauer

  14. I just became a member of CGC, and I have been reading the boards to make sure I got the hang of things. So, as my first two questions, I need some grading and valuation advice. I sent a copy of Amazing Spider-Man #50, and it came back with a grade of 7.0 with a verified signature from Stan Lee (autograph thanks to Celestial Comics). I then sent this comic back to Celestial Comics to get it autographed by John Romita. It has now been signed and is now undergoing a pressing through CCS. So, my first question is this. After these signatures and the pressing, should I expect to get another grade of 7.0, or should I expect a higher or lower grade? My second question is this. How do these two verified signatures affect the value of the comic? My guess that the value of Amazing Spider-Man #50 is around $750, unsigned. If I was to sell this comic as soon as I receive it, I would assume that I should ask for more than $750. But how much more? Thanks for your time and cooperation in answering my questions. Joe
