Thanks I ended up with a 2nd one. I went back and picked up 2 more packs. One with Eternals showing, which ended up being a duplicate of one of the Venom 25s just reversed literally comic for comic it was the same. And one showing Tony Stark Iron Man. Like before nothing I would write home about but I am also not upset with the price point. Anything that came up as cover price in CLZ I am going to just make coffee table fodder.

Oh I realize, but deems the breaks! Still plenty of talent on the docket imo. I am still very much looking forward to going and seeing the sights.

Oh yeah Scott's has treated me right and I agree it would be amazing to see them do more with Fan Expo.

I have 6 within 30 mins of me and all of them carry comics. I just happened to be doing a return and saw the unopened new 7 pack on the CS counter. They were pretty cool and just said "oh yeah we haven't put them out yet but yeah I will open it for you." Then proceeded to tell me there was no limit, so I could have bought them all. I ended up buying the 2 Venom packs only and left the rest, I was not interested in any of the other showing packs. Maybe I will go back tomorrow and buy the rest. Pretty sure there is no ratiogate with these but rumor is there is some pretty nice 2nd printings in some of the older packs. I did not get any of those but I am happy with what I did get. Think this was the best pull out of both packs -

I picked up 2 of the Venom packs it was a brand new box as the CS rep opened the shrink wrap for me. Will open it later tonight and post anything cool. There was no Alien packs in the box. It did have Iron Man and Eternals that I do recall.

Just got confirmation (privately) that Simmonds, Dell'Edera and Tynion are all cancelling. So that would kill both events right there.

I have heard the same. Other witnesses and facilitators will be there for CGC needs. Check the various comic artist booths would be my recommendation there.

This was me and @BladeTX second attempt at getting in, we think we missed the other pretty closely. But that is ok, as this was Walking Dead Deluxe #19 (1st Michonne) which is not just a huge issue but the OG has a pretty iconic cover!

You went to a store and they promised pins to you..... But didn't take any info before you left the store, how was that NOT a huge red flag? There are countless stories of people getting screwed over these pins, it is a silly gimmick that nets you (at this point) a choice of 2 different books. Other possible "prizes" to be announced. Bad Idea has done ZERO for those that have been screwed out of pins by shops. The only thing has been negative press for the shops but that is quickly forgotten about as I cannot name a single one that was involved in a pin fiasco previously. Pins have a set of stipulations but are not actual enforceable rules as it seems. Sorry it happened, but on the plus side you have 2 copies of those books now.

It is "hidden" in the announcement for Jeremy Shada on Facebook. It appears the main FED page has not been not updated yet.
