  1. While I absolutely agree, cost is going to be a huge factor for 5 books at once.
  2. He is not sure, since it is on the way to CGC. He didn't look inside the book. The front cover is a near exact replica of the original UF4 but it does have Numero instead of Issue. OG - La Mole -
  3. No this was talking about the Yoshi Yoani Clem cover. Earlier post Ryan asked about print run and what happened to the raw copies. Normally pre-screen rejects are shredded, looks like this cover they will be made available through CVL. Likely with the caveat that they were NOT 9.8. See Ryan's post below. There has not been much released about the connecting covers other than them being amazing covers, which I 100% believe. BC did say they would be sold as a set though. Not sure if it will be raw or graded.
  4. I do not, but I have a good friend that does. I missed out on getting one. He just had his signed by Clayton Crain.
  5. It is a foreign publisher recreation of Ultimate Fallout 4. Much like 2nd and 3rd prints will keep the 1st appearance moniker, so will the foreign versions.
  6. Just FYI I just asked him last week and @bigclutchsaid it is something he needed to revisit. I would def love to get a WDD #19 with a custom label, I am a bit biased on that though.
  7. I believe they go from CGC to Skybound in California, then have to make their way to the warehouse in Tennessee to be shipped. So they likely will not start shipping to customers for another at least week or 2 I would guess.
  8. I know of a couple books that were selling for well over the declared value max that did not get bumped. Ultimate Fallout #4 and Star Wars Clone Wars #1 are just a couple examples. Even raw are way above now.
  9. I wonder if you can call in and change the declared value when they bump?
  10. Crazy they are handling that much volume with only 17 people. Of course the TATs are showing us they are definitely struggling.
  11. I think the semantics is in the word "assign", I think they are taking the literal use of the assign in this case by the submitter assigning a value on the submission form. CGC is stating they will not themselves assign a value if left blank or even overwrite the value on the form. But in the event a submitter assigns a value of $400 in the modern tier for a book that is lets say a $10k book that falls in the modern category, they have the right to alter the service tier to the appropriate level. They will though keep the insurance designated declared value the same as that is completely based on what the submitter provided and not what CGC has determined was an error. I am curious if they have specific graders for specific tiers? So you wouldn't want your high end book being reviewed by a modern grader instead the walkthrough grader has more experience in that field.
  12. They clearly state in policy they are not altering the declared value which is how they handle the insurance claim if one arises. https://www.cgccomics.com/submit/declared-value-policy/
  13. I am enjoying the absolute hilarity of it. If it was an ongoing I would sub it.
  14. At least he is taking credit for the series continuing. I put WD on my pull starting with issue 192......
  15. My 1st time in a comic ever. I believe it is @BladeTX's what 3rd or 4th in the WD series? SO EXCITED.
  16. I have a feeling this is going to play into this more than anything. Before it was a more obvious situation of them bumping items that in no way should be in that category. Now the kicker is, what if the book was NOT over the $400 FMV when it was sent in and due to this wonderful TAT it is now? Will they hold the line and allow it to stay under the old tier or are they going to bump it even though it is because of their own backlog? In the end CGC has been doing themselves a disservice not bumping the books to the correct service. Too bad them doing it doesn't also alter the FMV that was declared, because imo what is good for the goose is good for the gander. They tell me it should be higher then allow me to alter that FMV to properly cover for this new tier. Right now they do not allow that alteration to occur that I am aware of.
  17. That is Collected, they have a couple stores around the Dallas/Ft Worth area. I am pretty surprised they allowed more than 1 per person. I drove up from Austin and bought a copy of Tankers #1 from one of their shops and almost didn't get it because they tried to A) sell it to me as a set (even though the others were not out yet) and B) assumed I had bought it already from their other store thus buying a 2nd copy was a no no.
  18. I honestly never have a chance to look at comics when I go to cons like this. I am there strictly for either the headliners (celebs or comics). This was no difference, I went specifically for Katee Sackhoff, who was not a disappointment to meet (or see) in person. She was all smiles and quite chatty. The con was absolutely packed on day 1, more than I expected. Here is a look at the badge pickup line around 10:30am (doors opened at 10am for normal and 9:30 for VIP I think). Saw a bunch of people in costumes ranging from Spideys to Alien and practically everything in between. I was absolutely amazed how short some of the Celeb lines were, Katee had about 10-15 in line around 11:30-ish. But had 6-7 in her VIP line. Most people were getting Mandalorian stuff (helmets and figures) signed or posters multi-signed. She required a face mask, so no photo with her was offered, which was completely ok. They offered masks to those without as well, which good on the showrunners for doing that. I had my own, I planned ahead. Here is a pic of the Celeb area while I was in like to meet Katee. Others with stupid short lines were Mark-Paul Gosselaar and David Ramsey. I got a fam pic with MPG and talked with him for 5-10 mins. He was pretty cool and down to earth kinda dude. David Ramsey though, stellar guy. My 16yr old son is passionate about getting into acting of some sort and went up to David when he had nobody in his line and asked him for advice. He offered him some freely. Which was absolutely amazing. I went up later and thanked him, means a lot to me for sure. I look forward to him donning the ring in the future! The longest lines, that I saw, were Ron Perlman, Danny Trejo, and Chris Sabat. The show floor had comic vendors and they had them spread out pretty well honestly. Which I think was good, so you were not bumping into a comic vendor next to comic vendor. The other vendors were pretty random. Which honestly doesn't surprise me being this fresh off a major lockdown. The artist alley was definitely lacking mainstream talent but they had some cool people there. Donny and Ryan were in with the Celeb area. CCP comics had a very large presence the likes of Ryan Alexander, David Sanchez, Ken Salinas, and the man himself, Mclain McGuire. Me and David Sachez - If you are unfamiliar with David's work, check him out. His covers are amazing, he is relatively new to the cover art scene. In total, I walked out with two metal tankards, an art print (from Ryan Alexander), two mystery box UltraSabers (for my kiddos), a new card game called Danger Zone, two celeb signed photos and 13k steps (yep I walked each row of the show floor). I highly enjoyed the show myself. As did my kids. It was great getting out and seeing what was there and interacting with my friends in the comic community again. The experience and memories made are what I am after and this was not a let down, at all.
  19. Nice, I will def stop by and hang for a bit. I am likely going for Brent Spiner and Adam Savage for autos, saddened Bautista cancelled.
  20. Nope, there has been other offerings where it did not have examples of them graded yet to show. It was a foil variant where the book looked like a TV guide with the guy’s mustache also foil. As for how long to show in Census, no idea. The 1st sketch WDD offering was not on the census when I figured out the total numbers. Didn’t not check when it was added later. 🤷‍♂️
  21. Not completely accurate. Some of the previous were on the way back. So while I would expect that would be the case here, it might not hit the census before the event.
  22. There are partial and complete completionists. I am not talking about non-comic appearances, even though some would include those. 🤷‍♂️
