  1. I think worse case scenario, 6.5-7.0. Potential for 8.0 is there but I would assume the former and hope for the latter EDIT: I visited the auction listing. There some definite yellow staining/discolouring on the back cover. 6.0-6.5. CGC hammers that kinda thing.
  2. 6.0 seems right. That small piece missing at top keeps from higher IMO.
  3. Terrible book. Donate it. Seriously I envy you. I’d say 4.5-5 is not outta range but likely gets the purple label. I’d keep raw personally.
  4. Kinda like how Web Of Spidey 18 means nothing to me and should mean nothing to many. It’s a hand that was meant to be something but that something changed. Thus not the same character. Intetesting piece of Venom history sure but to command much value beyond $5 is a no go from me
  5. Was it meant to be him at the time in issue 25? If not and if later on it was revealed only because the writer said so or made it the way, then for me it’s a retcon first app and means nothing.
  6. For me it would be the 1983 Bats issue. I don’t see anything similar other than name. For some reason though, it’s impossible to have a city or universe where two people have the same name just because. It always has to connect to an existing character or something. When in reality, there are many families with the same last name that are likely unrelated in any way.
  7. Agreed. If a character appears in a book multiple times and is part of the main or side story prominently, that’s a first full appearance. If a character appears in shadows, one panel or even a full panel at the end and is named, that has to get some other notation like cameo appearance.
  8. I’m also around 9.2 with those spine ticks near bottom staple.
  9. A clean and press might get 5.5-6.0 but I’m feeling 5.5 would be tops and 5.0 is where it sits.
  10. I vote the clue be the answer to one of the following three questions: 1. Which painting of Frazettas is it? 2. What genre of movie is it? 3. What decade did the film come out? Come on, just a little clue
  11. Lowest I can go is $70. And that is shipped anywhere CONUS or Canada. Let me know!
  12. I do but I also want to handle a book before I buy it, especially one worth a lot of money. I am not gonna trust anyone to say there isn't restoration, a missin coupon, etc. I always ask to handle and if they decline, I don't buy. So these plastic boards really serve no purpose. If I am buying dollar bin fodder and inexpensive stuff, I don't really care to examine every book nor even the back. Perhaps that is not what most do, but it's how I roll
  13. No one displays the back of a comic. That and the number of wraparound covers is just too few for these to ever make much sense.
  14. Definitely 2.0-2.5. Good enough to hit 3.0? Might be pushing it. The staples barely hanging on, the stain, the large crease on back I think are too much.
  15. Still no one eh? Well let’s drop it again $75 shipped!
  16. The pages sticking out weird is hopefully just a production thing. I also would not be surprised to see 6.5-7.0
  17. Let the price dropping begin! $85 shipped for all!
  18. Honestly if it’s a 9.8 books and the date stamp is the only thing on it, I’m pretty sure it can still warrant a 9.8. If not I k ow for sure you can get 9.4-9.6 books with date stamps. In many ways they are regarded as part of the process back in the day.
