  1. so you mean the in-demand artist of the hottest Image book, who is too busy to put his art for sale online, and you had to seek out personally via email is taking a bit of extra time to mail out the page you bought, and won't respond to multiple emails? I think you should be a bit patient.
  2. I love this book more than I love angel dust, but that auction seems an outlier? EDIT: ok, nevermind, it's the only run on ebay right now, and all the other min-runs are at high BINs. It's deserved, but unexpected! One of the best books on the stands right now. recent sales have been high for these. $20+ for 21? Go Prophet!
  3. pre-order hardcover is a no brainer. free Kindt art in each? hells yeah.
  4. so, are there existing copies of the small press version of #1 they supposedly had at NYCC last year?
  5. no, the tonal is not the final published copy either- it gets digitally finished. I would consider them both original art, and I'd prefer the tonal ones, personally.
  6. OK, let's try this. The new Harbinger #1 is getting hot on eBay, maybe due to the movie announcement they just made? It's also an awesome read.
  7. New issue? Best. Yet. Kindt is really hitting his stride.
  8. Read the first issue, thought it was just ok. Feels like a 70s comic or something.
  9. Every single copy in every single stack at Midtown in NYC was damaged. bad spine bends.
  10. Speculating on any of this stuff is a dangerous game. Buy what you love and what you don't need the money for.
  11. There's a cool Ploog page from TT in the May Heritage auction thanks!
  12. I'm looking for any and all artwork from the 80s PC series Twisted Tales and Alien Worlds.
  13. what the hell is this hastings place? and where is the one in Jersey?
  14. those Dark Horse heroes comics from the 90s had print runs in the gazillions.
  15. The art in 10 was great, but in my mind TMP = Pitarra.
  16. Morning Glories has a lot going on, and is kind of like an unfolding origami- but it all makes more and more sense with each reveal. I am in it 'til the end, but reading it monthly is not ideal- better as a trade.
  17. If anyone hasn't picked up the HC collection, it's a must own. The best produced book you have ever seen.
  18. Very cool idea for commission themes... now I feel like I need one...
  19. Not sure if they would go for that since there's already a forum created for OA. seems like the modern stuff only gets interest here.
  20. Not sure why that would be. Nowhere Men in particular is printed on better stock than our other titles, and Image titles in general are printed on better stock than other publishers' books. -e.s. Eric Stephenson Publisher Image Comics, Inc. www.imagecomics.com I think it's due to them being stacked together in cases. Some have it, some don't. I'm really not sure what the deal is. I see Image books on eBay with the same waviness all the time, so I know it's not just me. It might be some reaction to temperature or humidity that does it. It varies from title to title- NWM is actually the worst when it comes to the waviness, so the better paper stock may have a worse response to whatever it is.
