  1. $2k at least, I'd think. Though that auction is full of good stuff. Perhaps a few things will slip lower...
  2. feel free to upgrade your 17 and 20, and sell the crappy copies to me.
  3. exactly, now run out and get ya one.. MUST... STAY... FOCUSED.... ACTION... 10 TO 20.....
  4. well, you can NEVER go wrong with 14 and 24- those classic covers will always be in high demand. I would think that everything- actions and superman- were easier to find 15 years ago, no? I've been told that the Actions are harder to find overall due to lower print runs. I think 2/3 the print run of Supes? Personally, I just don't have the moxie to put together a collection of high grade stuff. I'm happier with a larger collection of midgrades. Besides, I'm generally not impressed with the diffference between an 8.5 and a 9.2, for arguments sake. When it gets to that kind of condition discrepancy demanding multiples on price, my brains leak out of my ears.
  5. Timulty, you've gotta cut down on the coffee! Your last post makes about as much sense as my 6-month old daughter Metro has VG for $820. Not bad...
  6. yeah, saw the #19, likely out of my price range. Figure the 44 will go for what, $1200 or so? Nice set! 40 and 44 have proven elusive to me at a decent price. I've been avoiding buying Superman books overall, as they seem relatively easy to find. I figure if I want I can pick them up later. I do have #32 "It Tickles!" and 45, on account of childhood memories of thinking they had cool covers.
  7. very true. you guys going for the vf 44 coming up on heritage? and, what issues do you have so far? (I've got 15,16,18, 35, 41, 53, 54, 59, 61, and 66)
  8. Weird, Scoop usually shows up pretty high in searches like that and they've covered it a few times. they referenced a few Lost valley sales, but I didn't see a description of the pedigree. Obviously I just didn't look hard enough
  9. anyone have any info on this pedigree? I can't seem to find a desription on the net anywhere...
  10. man, the lyrics to that song are embarrassing. Dave Gahan should never be allowed to write anything ever again. Martin Gore writes the songs actually. Dave just has to sing 'em. I do think "Precious" from the new album is a really, really nice pop song. Precious, and the first 2 songs are good. The rest is [embarrassing lack of self control]. I'd read that Gahan wrote 3 of the songs on the disc; I assume that Lillian is one of 'em, as it sounds like a 13 year old goth kid wrote it...

  12. are these 2 part of a larger action collection? Or are you another Zatara fan? (didn't realize Zatara HAD fans...)
