    It seems to me that Pitarra is on the verge of becoming one of the better iconic artists of the modern comics era. His stuff has real character to it, and I think he is thisclose to being widely recognized and admired in the same way as Darrow or Quitely. I don't have any of his stuff yet, am still waiting for just that right page...

    good Point QUESTION: Any reason why this blue one would draw more or less than the though bubble? the same reason anyone would pay hundreds of dollars for a days or months old comic book?

    still well more then double cover price though. ...says the man with $3k of slabbed, unreadable Walking Deads in his sig! At least you'll be able to actually, y'know, READ these. But in all seriousness, I'm sure the TPB will still be great without the extras.

    FYI, the author has said that his main goal was to put out a book you would want/need to read in a monthly format, so he added a ton of extras to the actual issues that WON'T be in the collected editions. For instance, the inside covers have unique stories that won;t be included, and the back covers have fake ads that fit with the series as well.

    +1. For my money, this and Prophet are the 2 best books being put out right now. You can tell how much work goes into them. They are the only ones I end up wanting to go back and reread.

    Honestly it makes me think of Y and Preacher. Slow build but definitely going somewhere. Idunno, by issue 3 of Preacher it was clearly something different than other books at that time. It had a real voice. I don't sense that from BlackAcre. (I never got into Y, personally)
