  1. I don't collect high grade, slabs, or copper, but for some reason I've always wanted this book in 9.8. Unfortunately, there were no 9.8s... ..until this one!
  2. Hi, does anyone here know if the 21 9.8 ever sold? and if so, how much? and, on a related note, what's the highest price so far for a mainstream (marvel/dc) copper 9.8?
  3. i agree, fiction houses are gettng much harder to come by. used to be common as dirt. I think the relatively low prices and long-running series have made many start to collect them
  4. Selling off my Master Comics Raboy WW2 covers. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2109596&page=3#Post2109596
  5. To all you Conan collectors out there, have you noticed any heavy rippling on your copies of issues 213-251? Every copy I have seen in the past few years is warped beyond belief, including my copies, which I trashed when I saw what happened to them. I thought it was ONLY my copies, until I started looking for replacements...
  6. Conan is my first and favorite. When I saw this page, I HAD to own it. Devourer of Souls = Teh Awesome
  7. Love that Chan art! He is one of THE classic Conan artists. Let's keep the Conan theme going. This is only my second piece of OA, but now that I have it in my hands I can't believe I own it. For about 30 issues leading up to Conan 200, there was this awesome long running storyline with the Devourer of Souls searching for some kid that would make him godly enough to destroy the world. ( He ran around turning people's sould into worms and eating them. Cool!) Finally in issue 199 he finds the kid 'kills' Conan, and prepares to kill everyone everywhere. My friends and I went nuts over this storyline as kids. This is the cliffhanger page from that issue:
  8. no worries. I made up for my loss with the purchase of an Action 58. And an Action 26. And a Superman 53.
  9. I love the Quitely All Star Superman artwork, but the lack of inks is somewhat dissuading to me. Are pencil pages just as desireable as inked ones?
  10. damn, so you're the one who stole that from me! I was the under bidder. Nice pickup! NOW STOP COLLECTING ACTIONS!!!!!!111!!1!1
  11. I knew that 19 from CLink was a good deal...
  12. part 2 of 4. Thanks to Brent at Quality Comixs. Very tight grading, quick shipping.
  13. Thanks guys. Just part 1 of 4. I've had a busy week. Read it last night, and I have to say that Sheldon Moldoff was really head and shoulders above his peers.
  14. these books are really nice. I have rarely seen DCs from this period in HG.
