All collecting and antiques values boils down to an opinion as its all subjective. Look at the TV show Pawn Stars or American pickers or antiques roadshow. They determine value or the condition of objects based on their expert opinion and what they have seen before and what it has sold to others before. there can't be anything 100% concrete when it comes to collectables or the second hand market. I think what CGC offers to collectors, buyers and sellers is a expert opinion that's extremely well experienced and thoroughly researched and some protection for your collectable (slab). 

The CGC mobile site works fine.
I don't see any need for an app.

Those comics aren't "scarce" and scarcity doesn't really matter.
As has been shown, there are sometimes people with dozens of copies of a comic. They're worth whatever the market offers - regardless of print runs or sales numbers.
I don't know why someone would even pay $50 for Avengers #12 considering that it has almost literally nothing to do with Endgame.

Idk if anyone is intending on giving the OP "a hard time". I would infer a positive tone when reading comments.
When you argue something that is incorrect, I find it necessary to combat that with the truth, though.
Not sure if you were referring to me in this comment. Movies just do not create keys. They can increase comic values, but they don't magically turn a comic into a "key" of any kind. Avengers Vol. 4 #12 is expensive right now. It's not a key in any way, shape, or form.

Been on both sides of the door bell as I was a Letter Carrier for 7+ years.
My house is on the worst route in the area (long - OT everyday ) so there is constant churn.
But through it all I have gotten great service.

while some of you claim immortal hulk is "underwhelming" i feel that's one of their best titles currently. i'm currently regularly reading Immortal, Amazing spider-man, venom and the superior spider-man series,  that will probably only make it to 25 issues im sure, and the new volume of marvel comics presents. and grabing a mini series here and there from them. i can't say they suck, but they definitely aren't hitting it out the ballpark as of lately.  IMO their right in between sucks and being WOW!

How is a half inch crack in the outer slab going to affect in any way the preservation of the comic inside the intact inner well?  The book will be okay.  Besides, if preservation is your first priority, you wouldn't have slabbed the comic in the first place, and instead stored it in mylar with an acid-adsorbing fullback for archival quality protection.

Well, it's quite possible that the book didn't receive a 9.9 grade on each of its resubs.  
The only one that counts is the last resub and I am quite sure that he must have "maximize the potential" of the book before resubbing it on the last go round.
