  1. I love this book and have not been able to find a nice copy. Yours is gorgeous. Ken
  2. That's probably my favorite cover of the run. Beautiful!! Ken
  3. That cover always stood out in the run for me too. Very nice book! Ken
  4. Great books. I love the Marvel Family. Much nicer than my copy. Those are both cool books. The Marvel Family is on my want list. Nice pick-ups. Ken
  5. Thanks. I don't have very many pre-horror HOM, maily the greytone issues, but I like the colors on this one. Ken
  6. You have some really beautiful books. Were there any DC sci-fi titles in the collection? Ken
  7. Awesome run of books. Feel free to post any other years too. Some suggestions: 1950, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 61,..... Ken
  8. Cool cover on that one. I wish Gerber would have put out a DC silver age book. Didn't he take all the photos but it never got published? Ken
  9. Beautiful copy. You have some great books. Ken
  10. Always loved these pink sky covers. Ken
  11. Awesome get! Thanks for sharing! What a great batch of books to get! Love the bright colors on the Jumbos. Ken
  12. Beautiful!!! Although we could appreciate the composition more if you had a nicer copy. Just kidding! Sorry, I didn't want to take my nicer copy out of the mylar. Ken
  13. Here's another example of why I think Raboy is one of the best composition artists. Ken
  14. My win from Bill Hughes' auction. Always loved this cover and am very pleased to have this copy. Was CGC 9.4 and freshly cracked. Ken
  15. Nice eye appeal on that book. I traded a NM- white paged copy of TTA 35 for a copy of that book back in 1995 to Showcase New England. The Action came back from CGC as a 7.0 and I sold it for a big loss a few years ago. Probably the worst comic deal I ever made. Congrats on getting a nice copy! Ken
  16. Those Wonderworld comics have some of the greatest cover images. I was at a family gathering and I was showing people those covers and no one cared! Am I alone here with those kind of non-reactions? I mean, I can appreciate what other people collect. Art, guns, coins, toys, etc. but I cannot understand the lack of appreciation by non collectors for some of those truly great cover images. All I ever get are value questions.Drives me mad. How much is that Wonderworld 7 worth? Ken
  17. thank you sir, and here are the rest of the cheslers [with her included down toward the bottom]. Now that's impressive! Quite an accomplishment to aquire a set like that. Any pedigrees in there other than the "D" copy? Ken
  18. Great book. I tried to win the one in the last Heritage auction but it went sky high. Congratulations. Ken
  19. The only other one I've ever seen since I started collecting the Gerber cover covers in 2003/2004 was on eBay with a detached cover and amateur resto as I recall and it still went for something like $200. It's like the Rocket 3 where I've only seen one other and it was in worse shape (a Rocket 3 on eBay in Poor sold for more than I could pay at the time). I always like an excuse to show this book off. Picked it up a long time ago and feel very fortunate to have it. Ken If that's unrestored and you'd like to, you know, unload the heavy burden that book must be on your collection, feel free to let me know. It is unrestored, but I could never burden someone with such a thing. Ken
  20. Seeing all of those together really makes for a beautiful display and makes me want to start looking for some of those books. I only have one duck book. Ken
