  1. The only other one I've ever seen since I started collecting the Gerber cover covers in 2003/2004 was on eBay with a detached cover and amateur resto as I recall and it still went for something like $200. It's like the Rocket 3 where I've only seen one other and it was in worse shape (a Rocket 3 on eBay in Poor sold for more than I could pay at the time). I always like an excuse to show this book off. Picked it up a long time ago and feel very fortunate to have it. Ken
  2. A very sharp looking copy with great color. I really like the cover art too. Ken
  3. I was wondering where you were. Harley had a few really nice books. Ken
  4. Picked this up from Harley last weekend. I think the cover art is really unique. Ken
  5. sorry, no photo cover here, but a great cover, i think. thanks so much Marnin. One of my favorite covers. Fortunately I own a copy or that book would have been gone a long time ago. Nice pick up!! Ken

  10. Nice book Richard. I missed out on that copy when Marnin had it. Ken
  11. This book has such a 50's feel to me. I love the painterly clouds with the bright cityscape in the background and the nostalgic feeling Superboy is expressing in his thoughts. Ken
  12. Stunning copy. I love the way the light blue sky makes the rest of the colors pop off the book. Great pick up!! Ken
  13. I'm not really into westerns, but those painted covers are awsome. Ken
  14. that is a gorgeous book. now that we're talking d.c.'s, here's my d.c. collection in full formation. just stuck it over in group. I like a lot of the cover selections you picked out. Really nice collection. Ken
  15. Awesome book! I saw Marnin's listing too late to grab that one and I already have the other ones he has listed. If you ever want to sell it for a profit, I would be interested. Ken
  16. I like a lot of the Wow Comics covers. Beautiful copy. Ken
  17. Nicely said. I have the same nostalgic feelings toward the past. I am just about finished with a biography about Walt Disney that is an excellent read and captures many of these sentiments perfectly. The book does a wonderful job of describing America's culture and feelings from the early 1900's through the 1960's. Ken
  18. Stunning! You need to stop collecting and start selling. Ken
  19. That book is incredible! I love everything about it. Ken
  20. Thank you everyone for the positive comments on this book. I really like it a lot and am starting to be more open minded to golden age books with some restoration if the price is right. This copy has all the attributes I like in a book. Now if only I could find a buyer for the Sensation Comics..... Ken
  21. Just got my books in from Heritage today and had to crack this one out. CGC 8.5 with just the cover cleaned and white pages. This book is gorgeous in person and would have gone for much more money if not for the slight professional restoration. I'm very pleased to have such an early Superman in nice shape. Ken
