  1. First in the thread wins. Please do not edit your post after posting If anyone is interested, I would take $87.00 shipped for all 4 books below. SOLD via PM PAYMENT Paypal only. Payments should be made within three days of receiving invoice from me. SHIPPING USPS priority shipping with insurance is my preference for shipping. I usually ship in a Gemini mailer and then put that into a USPS Priority flat rate box. I can ship in a Gemini mailer by itself which is a little less expensive, but in my opinion, not as secure. Anyone who buys a book can let me know their preference. I won't ship media mail. I've had too many bad experiences. • Shipping is exact cost. it will depend on your preference of either just shipping in Gemini mailer or USPS flat rate and whether you want insurance or not. It generally ranges from about $9.00 (Gemini mailer, no insurance) to around $17.00 (USPS Priority Flat Rate - includes $100 insurance). I love our Canadian and overseas members, but will only ship CONUS right now. Also, I only ship on Sunday morning due to work and family schedule. I will not sell to any H.O.S. Members or anyone currently on the probation list. Although I've never had any issues, full or partial refunds available if you contact me within 10 days of receiving your purchase. I do not offer refunds on CGC graded books. I think that covers it. Here's the books!
  2. Monday morning bump before reluctantly moving these to Ebay. CLOSED.
  3. Group lot of Marvel Essential Horror related books. CLOSED. First in the thread wins. Please do not edit your post after posting PAYMENT Paypal only. Payment should be made within three days of purchase. SHIPPING These will be shipped in a medium USPS priority flat rate box which includes $100 insurance. I won't ship media mail. I've had too many bad experiences. • Price on this lot includes shipping I love our Canadian and overseas members, but will only ship CONUS right now. Also, I usually only ship on Sunday morning due to work and family schedule. However, I'm actually off work tomorrow, so if someone buys this and pays tonight, I will ship it out tomorrow morning. I will not sell to any H.O.S. Members or anyone currently on the probation list. Although I've never had any issues, full or partial refunds available if you contact me within 10 days of receiving your purchase. I do not offer refunds on CGC graded books. I think that covers it. Here's the books! All these books are nice and glossy and look pretty much brand new. Read once and then sitting on my bookshelf for the last 10 years or so. Any yellowish glare/spots in photos is from overhead dining room light and not any defect on books. Essential Godzilla - (Sold prices for this one on Ebay range from about $35.00 to $50.00 + shipping) Essential Godzilla on Ebay Has a very small bend in the lower right front cover. Essential Man-Thing volume 1 - Has a small ding lower right front cover and a slight 1/2” corner bend on lower back left cover - doesn’t break color (visible in photo). Essential Marvel Horror volume 2 - This one looks good also. May have tiny ding again in lower right front cover. Photos below.
  4. Thanks for the info. I'm thinking about going back and buying the rest of them. They were all in about G/VG to VG but nice looking lower grade books. I really appreciate the reply!
  5. This is a magazine from 1992, but it has a couple articles on the history of underground comics (You Can't Preach From A Tijuana Bible & The happiest day of my life was the day I quit art school - the author discusses Zap and some other underground comics), so hopefully ok to post in this section since it features material from the 70's and earlier. Art Alternatives premiere issue. It's a decent copy Fine or a little better.
  6. Adding a couple more items. Front Page Detective magazine (April 1952) low grade due to water damage, but cover is decent if you can get past the lower right corner. Has moisture rippling on front and back cover. Fair condition.
  7. Sunday morning addition. Same price. $35.00 shipped for all 4 books. Tante Leny 20. It is oversized and top of book got bent. Still around VG or so mostly because of the bend. I've tried to cover the NSFW parts on these books.
  8. First in the thread wins. Please do not edit your post after posting Doing some Fall cleaning and finding things that I have no idea where they came from. Metal Hurlant lot - issues 6, 19, and 22 Asking $30 shipped for the lot. Issue 6 is around F/F+. Moebius cover and art. Corbin art (Den). Issue 19 has color loss/rub on front cover and is missing a piece off the top back cover around the middle along with a few other issues, so calling it G/VG or so. A few pages of Moebius art and Druillet art. Issue 22 is pretty nice. Has a small corner crunch on back cover lower right corner on spine. Calling it around F/FV, but looks nicer. A couple pages of Moebius art and a Druillet story with art. PAYMENT Paypal only. Payments should be made within three days of receiving invoice from me. SHIPPING USPS priority shipping in a Gemini mailer on these. I love our Canadian and overseas members, but will only ship CONUS right now. The irony is not lost on me considering these are French. 9. They don't get GA books very often, but when they do they also price them at Overstreet price guide prices unless it's something they recognize which is usually only superhero stuff. I bought Black Knight 1 (Atlas) for $100 a few years ago. I planned to keep it, but prices went nuts. I ended up selling it on Ebay for $1700. My LCS graded it 2.5, I graded it 3.0 when I sold it and the buyer sent it in to CGC and it came a 3.5. It was a really nice low grade copy. Here's my scan of the front. Kind of wish I would have kept it now.
  10. I don't see any evidence of moisture. The 3.5 copy on Ebay has a similar issue, although it looks like it may have some moisture issues. I don't see anything that looks like moisture on my copy. Maybe just wear?
  11. I had everything in that photo - the couch, the lamp, the pictures, the carpet. Everything except the Great Mazinger.
  12. Posted this in the Grading section, but thought I'd post it here too. It's lower grade, but that's all I can afford these days.
  13. I have a question about Airboy comics. It seems like they are not very popular. Is that why the census numbers are so low? Or, are some of them actually difficult to find? Are there any collectors who collect Airboy comics? My LCS has a small collection of Airboy comics mostly volume 8 & 9 issues. I picked up a couple and they were pretty fun to read. Are there certain issues of Airboy comics that are more difficult to find? Just looking for more info from my very knowledgeable board members. Thanks!
  14. Thanks! I was thinking around 3.0. Just wanted opinions of board members to confirm.
  15. I bought this at my LCS as a 2.0 (G), but I think it's a bit it's a bit higher. Page quality is Cream to slightly Tan. Main defects are in the scans. Top staple looks like it's still holding and centerfold is fine. Printers crease is visible on front of book around the middle. Spine roll. I didn't get a close up scan of the top right corner front cover but I realized it is missing a sliver of the corner. Interested to see what you guys think. I think the owner of my LCS is a very tight grader, especially at lower grades. There is a graded 3.5 on Ebay right now and I think my copy is at least as nice or close, other than page quality. Thanks for any replies! Bottom left corner missing a small piece. Top left corner small piece out. Top staple is still attached, but looks like it could come loose.
