I have a room full of file cabinets. Each cabinet has comics in it. Each comic is within a hanging folder. These are all comics original bought off the shelf. A friend of mine Scott Ireland emailed me the other day and let me know he is selling his entire run of HG CGC X-Men (a registry award winner) and wanted to know if I knew anybody looking for an entire run. His preference is to sell the entire lot whole but if he can't he said he would sell them individually. If it is not finished and has no AC, then most definitely yes. However, if it is finished and has central air, it should be ok. I would use a humidistat to check before storing any books there long-term. A de-humidfier could also be used to maintain the humidity.
