My 3 books arrived back at CGC today according to Fedex tracking. Hoping to hear back something by next week.

I have posted my thoughts and experience to my youtube channel berkfamily54comics today. Hoping to get this resolved soon.

Oh my goodness I’m so sorry. Im in the process of getting my information from beginning to current to make a video on it. I did a livestream but I feel a video is warranted to discuss just my books but I will most likely mention this as well. That’s insane man and I’m so sorry.

Received an email back. They said I can submit it back to CGC. They want Matt N to look at it.

This video is not showing up at all for me. Who is the YouTuber? We did a livestream on it yesterday and I've noticed others have as well. Looks like its gaining traction.

At some point there has got to be a post on their socials and website about the issue and how they’re going to resolve it. Whether that’s refunding everybody or buying people new books or pressing and re slabbing it for free. There has got to be something they can do overall. Feels like they’re not doing anything right now to save face. I just emailed cgc’s service team about my issues with my 3 books. What stinks is my 5 book submission I received - the 3 effected were all the 9.8’s - the 2 9.6’s were not effected I don’t think or at least as bad.

Is this something that I should send back in @CGC Mike for Mechanical Error or are those considered acceptable? I honestly don't know I'm just wondering. There is one book I didn't even post that had similar issues and none were sent in looking like that. So 3 out of the 5 I submitted came back with those issues.

I had almost the exact same issue as you a couple years ago. I just kept emailing and eventually they came through. I wouldn’t be shocked if you have to settle for in store credit.

I just checked my JSA cgc books and neither have the issue but it may be the covers are more card stock

Yes. 2 of my books came back this way and because of it even though they’re 9.8’s they have creases from the sides and it doesn’t look good. I didn’t want to post about it because I just got them back but yes I am not happy they’re done lay flat in there and they don’t present well from the side because of it. What’s weird is you can’t tell from looking at it from the top/front. Only from the side.
