  1. I don't know enough about OA, but how come no one has mentioned the obvious, Action Comics 1 app of Superman? That would be at least $25 million I would think.
  2. I’m a sucker for refinancing. Going back in my collection. per PM.
  3. Great price for a 4.5 for the seller. Was selling in March for $14k.
  4. Don't all of them have a fade to darker purple in the bottom right?
  5. It’s already got an offer for $260k. Not sure the correct word for the terminology, but that’s a pretty dingy looking cover. The white isn’t bright at all, looks tan.
  6. No prob. I made a bid. But since its the Holidays and money is tight, I couldn't hang with the big boys. Congrats to the winner. Looks like a great 4.0.
  7. That makes sense. Like another way of shill bidding would be sham sales.
  8. No one will know. (Like the meme). Most listings on these here boards tend to be below GPA prices. And half the time they get an even lower price thru PM. Only the man upstairs knows what price was paid.
  9. I use both GPA and gocollect. I just like the interface better on Gocollect. Not sure what the point is, as GPA shows the $27k sale as well in November 2019. Anyways I missed out on buying it. Oh well. Happy holidays!
  10. Not every deal or offer is recorded. This was a private sale offer. But thanks for correcting me. Obviously I’m wrong and the internet is right.
  11. It was in line with prices. This sold on Heritage around that time.
  12. I concur. Competition is way more fierce today. Recently I went to a garage sale that had comic books advertised. 0800 I’m in line waiting with about 6 other guys waiting for the long boxes to be brought out. Funny thing is I didn’t even realize one of those people knew me as I was too busy trying to go thru the books. To make matters worse, it was all drek Lol.
  13. Finding good prices seems harder today then it was last year. Do you feel the same way? Here is my theory: I think Covid brought in a ton of new collectors / speculators who stay at home and are more tech savvy. They monitor deals with multiple alerts and as soon as they see a good deal, it's snatched up. I read a similar story last week about an Bored Ape NFT that got listed for sale at $3k instead of $300k due to "fat fingers". It immediately got purchased by a "bot" programmed to find deals. I wouldn't be surprised if there are people out there with bots looking for comic book pricing mistakes as well on eBay or whatever.
  14. Hulk 1 is . I passed up a chance to buy Hulk 1 CGC 6.5 for $26k two years ago. Now worth at least double that.
  15. This is internet gold! Can’t Believe I haven’t seen this before. LOL took them to the motel. In all honesty, that had to take hours upon hours to find clips that Sync up to the song.
  16. I sure hope so. I overpaid for an x-men 1 CGC 4.0 earlier this year.
  17. Thank you for explaining. I feel like this should be pinned on the first page. one question though, how long is our rank list? Is it the entire 50+ item list?
  18. Can someone inform me how the drawing video works? So once our name is drawn, how long time frame do we get to make our pick? Do we we have to watch live? I likely will be busy with relatives. And how many picks do we make?
  19. Pretty good jump from last 9.0 sold in March this year for $95k.
