Punisher fans, let’s see them favorites..💀
Steelrain41 replied to nepatkm's topic in Copper Age Comic Books
Picked up a few more early Punisher's today. I love #2 and #10. I was looking for #75 and Annual #2 but they only had some low grade ones so I'm being patient -

To press or not to press?
Steelrain41 replied to Galactic_Gnar_Destroyer's topic in Comic Book Grading and Restoration Issues
Without seeing the book I think it would be worth it. The difference from 8.0 to a 8.5 is pretty substantial and gets very significant if it can get in the 9s. If you have the disposable income available it could be worth it. Any time you regrade it's a gamble though. -
Finally back from CCS. Now to for the grading wait

Awesome collection! -
I've had a book at modern fast track pressing since 12/5. I will never use CCS again.

Why is Spiderman #129 now a mega key comic ?

Can't argue with that 😂 -

I think Jim Lee's work on PWJ is extremely underrated. Plus Sieger's work on 50 is absolutely beautiful. I think my focus for the next few months will be Punisher... -
I picked up ASM 129 a few weeks back so I thought I'd start focusing on some Punisher books. There's some great books out there and they are relatively inexpensive right now. I love these covers. Jim Lee and Mike Zeck did some great work, but that #50 by Steve Geiger might actually be my favorite.

Classic Covers of the Silver Age!
Steelrain41 replied to sfcityduck's topic in Silver Age Comic Books
No one drew Batman as well as Moldoff. I love his covers. Him and Infantino were doing beautiful work at DC. -

I'm going to start advertising like that. Every book will be a 10.0 if you ignore it's defects lol.

So I'm just starting to get in to Golden age books so this is great knowledge for me. Looking at the picture I wouldn't have been able to tell that it was married and would've sent it in the same as you. Hopefully you can get the situation sorted out in your favor but I appreciate you posting your story. This post has been very educational.

If any of your books are graded then gocollect is a great resource. I also bounce books I'm about to buy off of mycomicshop just to make sure I'm in the ball park. Some of their consignment prices are ridiculous but most of their in house pricing has been accurate in my experience.

I'll pretty much buy anything Alex Ross draws

My son loves Into the Spider-verse so I had to grab some related books. The UF4 is signed by Bendis and the EoS2 is signed by Rodriguez and Latour. I got some great prices so I'm really happy. Had to pick up the low grade FF46 just to work some silver goodness in

My first and currently only price variant book. I can't find much information on value though. Everything either seems to have the 30 cent variant or the normal price. I'm just going to assume it's a $1000 book
